| May 8th, 2001. Teri Hatcher in 'The Chester Story' Velveteenfilms are currently filming 'The Chester Story' in Wilmington, NC. The film is an indie dram starring Teri Hatcher, currently seen alongside Antonio Banderas in the Miramax film 'Spy Kids'. The Chester Story is about when tragedy brings together three people thrown together by chance, but bound together by love. Hatcher plays Megan Margulias, a New York real estate agent trying to find a way to fulfil her life. Other cast includes Andrea Powell and Colin Wilcox Paxton. The film is directed by Rebecca Bagley and a release date of late 2001/early 2002 is expected. |

This lower budget independent project is set in the fictional Nort Carolina town of Chester. The storyline focuses on a group of characters whose lives intersect in the town at the site of an accident. One is Megan Margulias, played by Teri Hatcher (Lois and Clark). |
