(Obituary) : NAPOLEON : Services for Mrs. Johanna Mitzel, 78, Napoleon, were held Wednesday morning at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Napoleon.
Mrs. Mitzel died Sunday at the Wishek hospital. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Johanna Schwartzenberger was born Feb. 15, 1905, in Logan County, where she grew up and attended schools. She married Michael Mitzel, Nov. 3, 1925, south of Napoleon. They farmed near Napoleon until they moved into the town in 1935. Mr, Mitzel died in 1961.
Mrs. Mitzel is survived by four sons, Sebastian, Harvey, Richard, Huron, S.D., Mike, Coalinga, Calif., and Gerald, Phoenix, Ariz,; four daughters, Mrs. George (Tillie) Becker, Bismarck, Mrs. Byron (Monica) Lubbers, Jamestown, Mrs. James (Margaret) Jangula, San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Rick (Johanna) Sanders, Pleasanton, Calif.; 35 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren: two brothers, Richard, Napoleon, and Michael, Ypsilanti, Mich.; and six sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bauer, Belfield, Mrs, Jacob Wagner, Mrs. Matt Bitz and Wilma Wittmier, all of Napoleon, Mrs. Helen Kambeitz, Bismarck, and Mrs. Eva Schmitt, Ypsilanti, Mich.
