Our R.O.M. (Registry Of Marriage)...

Our R.O.M. was on Wednesday, 26 November 2003. It was a very simple affair among immediate family & close friends. Present, at the R.O.M. were (on Martin's side) his parents, his eldest brother, Gus (who flew all the way back from Indonesia with Grace, & his pair of twins, Godfrey & Godwyn), his second brother, Ben, & his family (yes, Jess & all the 4 kids were there too) and his good friend Jillian... (on Carol's side) her parents, her aunt (Pak Meah), her elder sister, Jenny & her husband (Bee Huat), her younger, Jason, her friends Anna, David & Agnes.

After the R.O.M. we headed for Phoenix Hotel where we had high-tea. Thereafter, we went to Fullerton Hotel to take some photos before proceeding to Wong San's Eastside for dinner and booze. It was a memorable occasion for us especially when everyone couldn't wait for June 4, next year.

At this point, we'd like to specially thank David & Agnes, for taking all the trouble to rent a car, to run all our errands, etc... They spent the whole day and evening with us and we can't tell you how touched we are to have friends like the two of them.

We would also like to thank Jillian for making it both at the R.O.M. and at Eastside... Thank you, Jillian, for your gifts as well...

Thank you, Eugene & his crew at Eastside, for making the evening party such a memorable one (special thanks for the champagne)...

Thank you, Augustine, for the beautiful dinner you cooked for us at Eastside...

Thank you, William & Rachel, for that bottle of wine...

Thank you, Jinhao & Berlin, for coming down despite your early flight the next morning...

Thank you, Mike & Adrian, for coming despite having to rush for a pool competition the same very evening...

Thank you, Anthony & Jac, for coming down despite Anthony having a bad stomach...

Thank you, Trip & gang, for the wonderful "ang pow" and all those booze you blokes bought...

Thank you, Ting & Bran, for dropping by despite having another engagement to rush off to...

Thank you, Guan, for standing right by me till the end of the party... hmm... now I'm seriously considering making you my Best Man... or are you already my Best Man???? hehehehe...

Thank you, Dominic (Toh) & Ivan (Lim), for the "make-up" party the following night... no worries about not being able to make it on our R.O.M. day... (just make sure you make it for the banquet on June 4, 2004)...

And most of all, a BIG THANK YOU to everyone else there sending us their blessings... there are just too many of you to mention here... the list would be longer than the River Nile.. but nonetheless, THANK YOU... your presence and blessings are heart-felt...
