Steve Frisbie's modified '85 m1009 military k5 from Coloradok5.com.  This truck is one mean motherf*cker.
Here she is in all her off-road fury.  More mods to come...
Stock 86 k5 with 33's and a crate 350.  See?  Stock trucks can wheel too...  As soon as monetary situations allow, it will be transformed into a seriously built 4wheel drive terror!!  Cant wait!!
Hey there.  I am Shaggy, and you have reached my Plans page, about Me and my 1986 Chevrolet K5 Blazer.  These trucks (they are not SUV's) are quite possibly the best vehicle in the world, in my opinion.  The combination of short wheelbase and full-size width creates the perfect all-purpose off-road vehicle,  (after some minor modification) I also love the back seat for more than 2 passengers. Another reason that they are so great is the abundance of parts of something breaks (it happens), the ease of maintenence (big truck=lots of room), and the availability of aftermarket parts and accessories.  That is why I chose to purchase this truck, and I plan on building a fully capable off- road machine that can be driven daily, too.
