Shofar Sounding is an arcane skill. For this once a year occurrence, There generally is little or no formal training. Usually, a brass instrumentalist winds up sounding the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.  

The Shofar Sounders WebPage II intends to approach Shofar Sounding in a scientific and respectfully religious manner. Although not much has been written about the Shofar, I have attempted to fill in the gaps.
