Style name: Okami Go Ryu

Author:C. Schmid

This is a style based around the core of Tae Kwon Do, kata from Shoto-kan, Goju Ryu, and our created katas name Cross katas and Knights katas. This style was created by several people who had trained either in Tae Kwon Do, or Shoto-kan, studied home study or knew of other styles. All of the kata are warped around the Kenpo self defense core. We have both northern kata and southern kata

Style name: Black Dragon Kempo

Author:Bob Wright

Black Dragon Kempo is a result of almost 31 years training and teaching. I devised it as primarily a hand based system for close quarter attacks in difficult areas such as nightclubs, trains, etc. Many of the strikes are open handed Chinese which involve many ripping, tearing, gouging and punching techniques.Fast and continuous movements are used without loss of power. No sporting aspects are taught. Take care and keep training! Bob Wright.

Style name: Mizu no Kokoro Ryuu Aikibujutsu

Author:Sensei Luzius Schaerer

The fundamental principle of Mizu no Kokoro Ryuu Aikibujutsu  is to blend with an opponent's movement and energy, controlling their physical center while protecting one's own center from reversal. One never fights strength and aggression with the same, but instead relies on more refined techniques and methods, such as taisabaki (body movement), kansetsuwaza (joint locks), kuzushiwaza (off balancing methods), nagewaza (throws), osaewaza (controlling techniques), kyusho no jutsu (vital point attacks) and of course, aiki (blending of movement and energy) to effortlessly redirect and control an opponent's attack.

The techniques of Mizu no Kokoro Ryuu Aikibujutsu are relaxed and energy conserving, focusing on using the attackers energy and defenders body as a whole. Shinkengata (Real Fight Style) forms the basics behind the techniques and is always stressed during training. The result is a distinct style of movement only found through Mizu no Kokoro Ryuu. Students continuously train in three areas: stand-up fighting, ground fighting, and weapons skills.

Style name:Wadoryu

Author:Ben Haryo

Wadoryu is a Japanese martial art style, created in the mid 1930s (before World War II) by GM Otsuka Hironori. GM Otsuka received grandmastership in Shindo Yoshinryu Jujutsu and Kenjutsu at 1921 when he was just a young man 30 years of age. Then the following years he pursued a study of Okinawan Kempo (as Karate was then called). At his earnest he studied the Okinawan art under the tutelage of Funakoshi Gichin of Shotokan, Mabuni Kenwa of Shitoryu and the powerful Motobu Choki the master of Okinawa Kempo. From Funakoshi he learned the Kihons (basics of Karate) and these following katas: Pinan 1-5, Naihanchi, Kushanku, Seishan, Chinto, Passai, Rohai, Niseishi, Wanshu, Jion and Jitte. From Mabuni Kenwa, he learned Suparimpei, Unshu, Matsumura Rohai and Gojushiho, as well as revising the Katas he learned earlier from Funakoshi. From Motobu he learned Kumite (sparring) and revising the Naihanchi Kata. After he had become well-grounded in the Okinawan art, he decided to infuse the techniques and principles of Jujutsu into the Okinawan art. The result is a new martial art called Wadoryu. Punches, kicks and Katas of Okinawa blends with the joint locks, throws, pins and vital point attacks of Yoshinryu Jujutsu. The Jujutsu techniques are preserved in these following Katas of Wadoryu: Tantodori, Tachidori, Tachiai, Shinken-Shirahadori, Gyakunage, Idori, and in the various Kumite techniques. These days Wadoryu has become one of the major styles in Japan (under Zen Nippon Karatedo Renmei Wadokai). The current president of Wadokai is Mr. Eiichi Eriguchi, while the head of the style (Ryu-Ha) is Mr. Otsuka Jiro (son of the founder). Unfortunately the JKF-Wadokai and Mr. Otsuka Jiro now have parted ways, Mr. Otsuka Jiro had decided to form his own organization called WRR (Wadoryu Renmei). Most of the Wadoryu organization in the world follows either JKF-Wadokai or Wadoryu Renmei. Wadoryu, together with Gojukai and JKA (Shotokan). In 1972 Mr. C.A. Taman, one of GM Otsuka's students, departed from Japan to Indonesia and formed Wadoryu Karatedo Indonesia, the official branch of JKF-Wadokai in Indonesia. Today Wadoryu in Indonesia is one of the biggest, although the dominant style in Indonesia is Taekwondo WTF and Shotokan Karate.

Style name:"Kungchido-a style without form"

Author:Grandmaster Saroj Joshi
By Saroj K. Joshi, Ph.D.

It is hard to implement in practice, what you have learned in any martial arts school. That is one of the reasons, why people get frustrated during their practices, training and teaching. This is the same reason audiences get frustrated. They want to see the real art and great fights, which will reflect the real meaning of the martial arts.

Japanese carefully managed and came up with a system called kumite, which is nice and provide some concept of fighting with proper techniques. Credit goes to late Gichini Funakoshi, who put Karate-Do together. I think still lagged Philosophical and Spiritual explanation to achieve the highest level of arts.

Bruce Lee tried to explain about the sparring with the help of Zen Philosophy. He gave the great opening in fighting with the true martial arts spirit. It was explained in his book called ?ao of Jeet Kunedo? He tried to explain with his experiences with the help of Zen philosophy. Bruce Lee found it hard to show the true scientific method because of his constant devotion to his movies and a constant struggle with his own concept, as it changes all the time.

We know that before Gichin Funakoshi and Bruce, many great martial artists definitely had tried to explain these concepts. To know the real meaning of style without form concept is a great challenge. In many cases people are very particular with their techniques. Many of them tried to prove one school was better than another. It is still happening today, which is absolutely wrong.

In the modern world, Bruce came up with great idea that Martial Artist must not be particular in their techniques and styles. He did encourage all of us to learn everything we can. And master in at least a few techniques to fight and win. The Concept is grand. Similar concepts had developed in Tanaka Martial Arts research institute in Japan.

One thing is missing before he came to that level, one shall learn the basic and have a solid foundation of martial arts with correct technique. It may be any style or multiple styles.

With my 30 years of practice and teaching, I have come to the point that above referenced concept can be achieved with the help of hard work, training and strong background of philosophy, especially with Zen concept. The scientific explanation of essence of philosophy is given below.

I have picked the Karate-Do as a basic foundation, Kung Fu for more hand techniques and Tai Chi for the gentle flow and breathing techniques. It can be vice versa or any forms as I have defined, which I am calling Kungchido with unique techniques and concept.

I have combined all the above-mentioned styles and come up with new original techniques giving simultaneous soft and hard way of training in a single combination. I called them Kungchido katas. So far, I have developed three advance Katas of Kungchido.

For effective breathing techniques and spiritual development, I have created Bodhi-Lu exercises with great historical and spiritual linking both the place and great founders of Martial Arts. I have created Bodhi-Lu1 and Bodhi-Lu2.

Once a student will learn the basic of Kungchido and advance katas including Bodhi-lu1, 2, they will learn one more thing. That is Kungchido a style without form. It can be defined as follows:

No style will limit your knowledge, vision and your concept. When you will be in sparring or combat you will be in zero sequence alerting all your senses and intuitions, intellect, physical and mental strength. It dictates no form giving extraordinary performance of martial arts. Winning the opponent before the sparring. No fear, worry will be experienced. Your reflexes and movement will be just natural. Your sparring, tactical combat, your power punches, kicks, blocks, defense and attack will be in the highest level you have developed.

It can also be interpreted in scientific words, which I called perfect zero sequence of mind and body as in zero sequence of sinusoidal wave of Current and Voltage of alternative current. An arc can be killed even before the electricity will produce the arc. Because of perfect synchronization of voltage and current at that point Current and Voltage will be zero. This is what I called perfect combination of mind and body shall be, which will make you a winner even before the combat.

Style name:"Tradition"
Author:Ben

Tradition is not a matter of what works on the street it's a matter of going deep into an art and finding out what it's all about take Karate-do for example, it got its origins in Okinawa nahate to be more accurate this system was developed because all the weapons in Okinawa were being taken away by the shogun. The Karateka then turned to "traditional" methods if you will to train his mind and body the karateka would do jundo and hunjundo training to prepare himself for battle Karate back then was meant strictly as a matter of self defense.

Style name:Ken Yu Kan Goju Ryu
Author:Kyoshi Alexander de Araya

Goju Ryu is one of the 5 major styles of Karate in Japan, and as such, it might not need a lengthy introduction, except to say that it is, and always will be a traditional Martial Art. From Kanryo Higaona to Chojun Miyagi to Yamaguchi Sensei, the system remains the same, and although after 34 years of practice one needs to "create" and "expand" (SHU HA RI),the "essence" will stay forever. Ken Yu Kan (healthy and strong group) bases it's commitment to Martial Arts in the way the curriculum is taught, and that is by adhering to the basics but modifying the effects. Although Martial Arts in general have deteriorated, by sticking to much to "very old and obsolete" methods, one must not manipulate the "core" and totally disregard the ancient traditions and the way techniques were developed. That's why I read with sadness some of the statements written by some who have moved away from traditional forms, to "create and develop" their own, and on the way have perhaps created "legends" in their own minds. Anyone who has entered "full contact" events, or served in their countries Armed Forces or even worked the "doors" of ill reputed places might have a hint of what it is to "get rid of the waste" and bring in a system that "really" works. Goju Ryu it's a "short range" Karate style, which emphasises the use of legs and hand techniques in a 50/50 fashion and let open the way of expansion, so that you can perform other techniques and combinations depending on the situation. The practice of Kata, forms an intricate part of Goju Ryu practice, and allows the student to challenge himself with the patterns, by "creating" real confrontations without an opponent. Even when Kata has been rubbished by many, it will be still a source of inspiration by those who believe in traditional Arts, and will always challenge even the most addicted practitioner. In Ken Yu Kan, we start by introducing the new student to Jumbi Undo (warm ups), followed by Kihon (basics performed on the spot) By creating an atmosphere of equality, where nobody knows more than the other, we "challenge" the students to defeat their fears. Not all the students come to Karate training for the same reason, and a good Sensei should account for the nature of the student needs. By ascertaining this needs, and promoting a pattern of training (schedule)for a particular student, we could bring the new student to the level of confidence required for higher learning. After Jikoboei (self defence), we introduce the students to Kumite, and this is done according to the level of expertise acquired during the course of training. Different levels of Kumite are promoted, and in the senior levels contact is allowed as per mutual agreement. Juniors are controlled and judged by Sempais, and by the Chief Instructor himself, so as to minimise injury. In the Ken Yu Kan Karate Academy we strive for a safe and healthy place to learn, and not a free for all slaughter house. Kobudo practice is part of the curriculum in Ken Yu Kan, and students are encouraged to "take up arms" sort of speak, and develop body and mind coordination by the use of ancient Okinawan weapons. All students who have reached the level of Green Belt are allowed to train in weapons, and although Juniors are encouraged to participate, they do so at a "lighter" pace. Weapons will be part of their "grade" once they have achieved the Brown Belt level. Ken Yu Kan has an "open door" approach to training, and everybody is welcome to attend and exchange ideas and concerns, and also for a bit of training.

Please feel free to access my email address ( kyksensei@ozemail.com.au )and I would answer any questions relating to Goju Ryu and Kobudo training, and when in Sydney, come to see me.

Style name:Mixed Combat
Author: Ben Mosko

Mixed combat is the hitting placement of Karate with the in close knees and elbows of Muay Thai also with grappling and pancrase added to the mix. My buddies and I recently started doing it last year. It is very easy to become good at this sport but it is extreemly hard to become consistantly exellent because of the "all hits go" rule (except the groin). It is fast paced and matches only last six minuets. Training is intense but it makes the fighter very accustomed to blows to the head and midsection. One of the excersises that we developed is putting ice packes across the face and cheekbone area and then sparing only with hands combinations to the head area.

Style name:A.C.T."American Combat Tatics"
Author: Sifu J Amador

This is not an hybred type of karate or some new approach to the ulitmate art. It is just plain right out combat. I do teach katas (movements of drills taught) and defensive type drills (techinques). I do not take students under the age of 12 yrs. I teach out of my home in a private studio. I come from a military background in which started with my Dad at the age of 10 yrs of age. My father always taught the truth as do I. He (Dad)has train all over the world and was one of the 1st 12 original Green Beret trainers the Army trained. I too have been trained by many of his friends as well as mine (rangers, seals etc...) also I have been trained in Kenpo, JKD, Shotokan & Tai Chi for over 30 years by 1st generation instructors with they themselves having been studying for over 20 to 30 yrs also. I teach the natural mecanics and folds of the body and the autonomic responce of pain as related to the mind and body connection. This allows for the student to understand how his opp will ! react to the strikes applied. This system is quick to perceive and a life time of exploring once egos are crushed, In other words, it is a system of flowering, always seeking and facing the sun, so as to grow. I just beleive that when someone comes to you to learn and not be afraid why show him how when you can let him experince motion and its application. My motto is " To hear is to doubt, to see is to be deceived, but to feel is to beleive " So when I teach I teach and what I teach is real, not a F.U.B.A.R.! For more info on A. C. T. write me. Style name:Shingon Kempo
Author:Shingon Kempo Bugei Honbu Dojo

Shingon means True Word which has many esoteric and historical meanings. If one studies the Mitose Kempo system, then one will soon find out some of this words meanings and its relationship to Mitose, Kempo, Ninpo and Aikdo. Kempo is the "Study of All Natural and Cosmic Laws within a Martial Arts medium. This gives the true flavor and meaning of the kanji. Pacifist Buddhist monks do not study nor practice the "Law of the Fist" which is and sounds barbaric and is showing that one only perceives or understands only shoden to chuden level of study and practice. There are no techniques or Katas taught within this system. There are however Keiho which look somewhat like Bagua forms mixed with hopping etc. which in Kosho Ryu is the Escaping Arts or Temple Dance. Essentially what is taught is the understanding of movement and motion which precedes any techniques. Once one understands these few basic concepts of physics and psychology one can create infinite techniques that may be applied to the given situations. To memorize techniques that must be recalled in stessful situations is illogical. Once one blends with the attacker(s) one finds they are able to easily manipulate the same.

There are no belts or Kyu/Dan ranking systems within this Study.

Style name:Dragon Kenpo
Author:Reggie Hoover

This comprehensive martial art conisits of the techniques of the complete dragon kenpo system combined with Qigong Gongfu of the five animal system. The kenpoka is then introduced to the Matsumura Orthodox White Crane Shorin-Ryu Kicking Methodologies. The various animal fists, such as the Phoneix Eye, Dragons Head, Double Dragons Head, White Crane Fist, and the Budda Hand are emphasized! The Theory Of The Eight Trigrams is introduced as they relate to the Four Phases of the Grand Ultimate Taiji Yin and Yang Poles and their execution of application in the fist of the Bagua! This give the Kenpoka the ability to continuously yield, adapt, and devastate under any circumstances, while ever changing and adding in actual combat to their Kenpo arsenal!

Style name:DRAGON KENPO The Body's Vital Points For Striking Internally And Externally:
Author:SENSEI HOOVER, 1st Dan Dragon Kenpo Karate

I will, in this section elaborate on the critical martial considerations of devastation to the external "Tai Yang" (Strong Yang) 'Trigram Vital Points In The Fist', of the " Grand Ultimate Taiji Chart" in relation to "The Law Of The Fist", or kenpo counter-attacking methods! The external vital point striking to the trigrams as they relate to the parts of the body, and symbolized in the understanding of the "Bagua" present an interesting counter attack methodology. Striking to the tai yang external vital points of the body reveals that concentration, power, and strength must be used to attack these strong points. The tai yang areas of the body for striking externally are the "Head" and "Shoulders". I will discuss the head areas since the head is the commander and chief of the body's actions, reactions, and movement of the natural weapons. The areas for striking to the head are "The Third Eye " "the Temple " " The Back Of The Head " " The Left And Right Frontal Lobe Regions Of The Skull And Brain ": The left frontal lobe region of the skull, when struck with enough force, will affect the opponent's ability to calculate distance and execute correct body movement, such as dodging, blocking retreating and advancing, allowing the kenpoka the opportunity of executing continued motion of devastation to " Destroy The Fort ", and end the conflict within the least amount of time. Thus a power concentrated strike to the left frontal lobe region of the skull eliminates the attackers ability to function as a natural weapon of destruction, by producing a rather lengthy " Suki "! If this region of the skull is struck with enough force repeatedly clotting of the blood vessels in the brain below the skull will result, and if left untreated medically, DEATH WILL OCCUR AS A RESULT OF THE PRESSURE OF THE CLOTTING BLOOD VESSELS UPON THE BRAIN. A strike to the temple, when str! Uke with concentrated force will produce, for the skilled kenpo stylist, the " Naibu Hakai ", or " One Punch Knockout '! A concentrated forceful strike to the back of the head will produce a variety of disabilities such as The extreme straining of the neck muscles The fracture of the spinal cord at the neck, either totally destroying the vertebrae, or cracking the spine at the neck internally, producing a hairline fracture Or the conventional knockout! The third eye, when struck with concentrated force and power will disrupt the opponent's 'Qi' flow and create a " Suki ", long enough to strike in devastation to above areas mentioned, as well as when being struck by the forceful Knee lift will render the opponent unconscious. Striking the right frontal lobe region with concentrated force will disorient the opponent, rendering him/her open to a combination of concrated strikes to the other regions of the skull, ending the conflict in the kenpoka's favor! Therefore, the striking! Of the tai yang external vital points of the body, using the execution of the natural weapons of the fist, involve the application of fist strikes knuckle-fist strikes back knuckle-fist strikes horizontal elbow strikes vertical elbow strikes downward elbow strikes to the shoulders as well as, reverse elbow strikes to the third eye while kneeing to all skull regions and shoulder areas, cannot be over emphasized, with any combination of the fist, elbow, knuckle-fist, and knee strikes to these vital tai yang trigram point of the body.

Style name:Dragon Kenpo "JeetKenChun Street System"
Author:
Darryl Grier

The system is a mixture of Kenpo, JKD, Wing Chun, Pencak Silat and various other styles. The system is designed for any street encounter from the street fighter to the grappler, and the boxer. I designed this system to elimate total wasted motions of other sytles that I have taken over the years and to flow from one to another without cambering the strikes or kicks in any way. The system it self is not a pretty system but it works to elimate the opponent and not to just subdue him. I teach on a private basis in Charlotte, North Carolina and welcome anyone who wants to see and learn this system. I can be reached by e-mail. JKCKENPO@cs.com

Style name:Dragon Kenpo (modified)
Author:Shawn Armstrong

Dragon kenpo is primarily a striking art, I've modified that philosophy by adding some judo, some hapkido, and the devistating kicks of taekwondo. I have also developed an improvised weapons section, that teaches the use of everyday, personal items that can be used as weapons. I have modified the judo, so it fights from the ground up, not from the standing down. I have included the joint locks of hapkido, with strikes to vital areas. I have included strong kicking techniques of taekwondo for a better distance strategy, and I have included the use of varying weapons, such as the leather belt, car keys, a pen, or your average strip of cloth all weapons you can carry on the streets.

Style name:Street Fighting
Author:Brian Bonilla

This style is used for the streets. It is based on a combination of Ninjitsu, American boxing, and some muai thai boxing. It is my own personal style that I devised and helps me to survive up hea in the streets of New York. The rules to this style are simple, " There are no rules " which basically makes this style a dirty one. I mean if a big guy comes and grabs you to where you cant get out, I wont even wast my time trying to do some reversal I will be more direct. In this style I also believe that if your life is in danger and there is no way out, you KILL if neccessary. I also customised my kicks and punches to what I thought was important. For example I would avoid kicking high because it doesn't hit with that much power unless your a flexible person. If you dont feel comfortable kicking high, why stress it. I only throw my kicks to the waist and down, or if I see my opponent with his hands ridiculously high in the air I may make an exception and kick him in the rib. I was always taught (in ninjitsu) to be a warrior, not a fighter, because a fighter almost always feels he has to win, while the warrior only has to survive. Any questions:E-mail the author

Style name:SOGO GOSHIN-DO(Combined Method of Self Defense)
Author:Christina Crank

As you know, no one type or form of self defense is totally able to work against the way of the streets. Sogo Goshin Do is the combination of different styles or types of martial arts into a useful and effective way of self defense. This gives the people who practice our style of self defense a better chance on the streets. The style has taken a little of the different techniques from all around the world. Africa, China, Japan, Korea, Okinawa are some.We take these and incorporate them when in use, it is as water, the techniques flow together, the combination of styles and movements work together. Some of the different styles used are: Kempo, Aikido, Ju-Jutsu, Karate, Judo.

Style name:Aikijiutsu Kempokai
Author:
Sifu Vatch Bartekian

Sifu Vatch? Bartekian has recently developped a modern self-defense system utilizing basic principles and advanced techniques from some of the most ancient of martial arts. Aikijiutsu Kempokai is a mixture of Aikido, Jiujitsu, Tai Chi Ch'uan and Shaolin Kempo with its main body of techniques and philosophies focusing on the FIVE ANIMAL styles of Shaolin Kempo: the Dragon (which promotes mental strength, concentration, and a fighting spirit), the White Crane (which promotes grace and balance), the Leopard (which promotes muscular strength), the Tiger (which promotes skeletal strength and power), and the Snake (which trains Internal Energy and promotes proper breathing, speed and power). Each animal embodies a particular range of strategies. A well-rounded fighter is assumed to be familiar with all the animals, so as to be well-equipped to choose strategies appropriate for different situations. At the same time, Sifu Bartekian teaches techniques from other martial styles in order to complete the circle of a "well-rounded" fighter. Aikido techniques and philosophy teaches his students to percieve an aggressor as a lost and confused soul, trying to find peace within him or herself.
The aikido aspect of Aikijiutsu Kempokai makes the student realize that he is the eye of the storm (peaceful and calm), and that the "opponent" is the object which flies helplessly among the strong forces of the surrounding winds. The Jiujitsu apsect of this art teaches students how to control an opponent by grabbing, seizing, and applying chin na techniques to make them submit. And finally, the Tai Chi Ch'uan allows the student to reak the benefits of Taoist philosophy pertaining to the notion of Yin and Yang and the Universal Energy which pervades all things and which the student can learn to control in order to defend, or even to heal.
All of these and more make-up the system of Aikijiutsu Kempokai and Sifu Bartekian would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have about the individual styles which make-up the whole of his, or any questions pertaining to Aikijiutsu Kempokai itself.

Jim Tracy was the sixth person promoted to Black Belt (Shodan) January 2,1962. Certificate dated January 7, 1962.

Will Tracy received his Black Belt (Shodan) in 1961, under both William K.S. Chow and Great Grand Master Fusae Oshita (James Mitose? sister).

In the spring of 1962, the Tracy brothers opened their first studio in San Francisco, which was named Kenpo Karate Studio and was the northern branch of Ed Parker? organization. The Tracy brothers also created belt manuals (which contained 40 techniques per belt at that time) and gave the techniques names, like Attacking Circle, Raising the Staff, etc.

In 1964, the Tracy Brothers were promoted to 3rd Degree Back Belt (Sandan). Ed Parker turned the Kenpo Karate Association of America (KKAA) over to the Tracy brothers and then formed the International Kenpo Karate Association (IKKA). The Tracy brothers agreed to join the IKKA on the condition that they could keep the standards of teaching of the KKAA for their students. The Tracy brothers later opened schools throughout California and other states and formed the Tracy? International Studios of Self-Defense, http://www.tracyskarate.com By 1982, Ed Parker had changed what he called American Kenpo, so much so as to make it in Parker? own words, "no more than 10% Kenpo." It was around this time that the Tracy? completely broke from Ed Parker. Tracy? Kenpo Karate remains to this day teaching "Original/Traditional" Kenpo, one of the most effective systems of self-defense available.

Nippon Kempo is an art the consists of striking, kicking, blocking, throwing, joint locks, reverse holds and ground combat. It has no relation to other kempo styles and it is used to defend one self and against other martial artist. Nippon Kempo was founded in Japan by Master Muneomi Sawayama in 1932. He was an original student to Shito Ryu founder Kenwa Mabuni and a Judo practioner since he was a young boy. To make Nippon Kempo Complete, he incorporated "Bogu". Bogu is equipment used by samurai's to practice kendo. With the equipment, you can use full force which makes it a reality without the injuries.

I have devised Kombat through a number of martial arts, including (but not all): Tae Kwon Do, Judo/Jujitsu, Boxing, and Capoeira. Benefits of training include: self defense, self discipline, self confidence, flexibility, health/fitness, co-ordination, fun, and much more!

Kombat is one of the most comprehensive systems around. It is also an ever changing system because I believe in Jeet Kune Do's moto "Absorb what is useful." It includes numerous kicks, punches, palm strikes, throws, joint locks, pressure?oint strikes, chokes, sweeps, takedowns, acrobatics, grappling, trapping, blocking, timing, distancing, guarding, breaking, falling, ki (internal energy) development and breathing exercises. It also includes instruction on a variety of weapons, sparring, bag work, weight training, aerobics, flexability, first aid, and forms, which are mainly TKD forms, with minor changes to include a more variety of techniques. «« There is no formal ranking system because I believe belts are of no use. You are either student or teacher. «« The uniforms consist of white pants, with a school t-shirt. No jacket because in a real fight you are probably going to be wearing pants and a t-shirt, not a gi.
