| Reflection: |
| The Educational Research Society of Venezuela, was created by a group of professional men and women as an answer to the need of promoting new alternatives in the learning process, in order to improve the quality of education. In such a sense, the creation of spaces for the deep thinking and knowledge experience is proposed. Due to the challenges of the new century, we cannot continue educating future men and women with obsolete methods. The dynamism of the humanity has lead us to think about the human being as a whole and to re-create education. In addition to that, the exclusion, desertion, and repeatency phenomena, among others, can be diminished; the students creativity waked up; and the relation educator-student developed and oriented by shared learning and mutual respect, all these in an atmosphere that promotes the love for knowledge. The philosophy of our society is shaped in the following pages, where the reader deepens into the spirit of our ideal. |
| The organizational structure of SIED of Venezuela includes five (05) Coordinations integrated horizontally in a single level. They are: General Coordination, Coordination of Institutional Relations, Coordination of Administration, Coordination of Telematics and Coordination of Research and Development. |

| To become a global gravitational center for knowledge. To give educational services for the knowledge generation through research and development of the intellectual capital in the local, regional and world-wide context. |
| Its human capital is constituted by educational and technical personnel with the most elevated professional qualification, with experience cultivated in different areas of the educative process. This human resource guarantees the quality of the educative services that SIED offers. Each coordination will be integrated as well by affiliated specialists. All SIED members are to give their intellectual contribution through research, written publications, conferences or organizing any activity of the educative scope. |
