2.Your stories have to be at least two (decent sized) paragraphs if not more (I prefer more, don't worry about writing a story too long, most of mine are around/over twenty pages in word now, so I'm perfectly willing to read something that long or longer). No galleries of cyberpets, absolutely -nothing- related to neopets, and no perfect candidates. These dragons aren't perfect, people, they've got their own little quirks and weaknesses, so don't bother making a 'perfect' candidate in hopes of bonding a Gifted, they're rare, and I'm only giving them out to stories that I feel deserve them. Stat tables are helpful, but optional.
3. I have to be able to read the site, so no neon backgrounds or such, my eyes are bad enough already.
4. Speaking about cyberpets, your candidate can only have three pets at the most. These dragons are large, and require much attention.
5. Double bonding is possible, but its going to be fairly rare. If you want me to consider your candidate for a double bond, say so in the form, and tell me why you think they could handle it. Also, unless you state otherwise, cross gender bonding is very possible here. So if you don't want your male candidate to bond to a female dragon, say so in the form.
6. Try to keep it to a PG-13 rating. A few curse words are ok, as long as its -tasteful- (as in, fits in with the character, and the circumstances warrant it). I will accept more mature content, but please put a warning at the beginning of your story and then again before any really mature stuff. Please note that these type of stories better be -very- tastefully written, because I'm going to be very picky about them.
7. As this is a brand new world that - as far as the Myrsilk know - has no native intelligent species on it, feel free to throw any sort of candidate you want at me, as long as its not obviously ripped off from a TV show or movie or such.
8. No upper age limit on characters, but please have them older than 13, and not some crotchety old human on his (or her) last legs.
9. Please read the information in the Library, these dragons are rather different from many others that are out there.
10. You can suggest what Element you want your dragon to be, and how many other Elements you want (and what they are), but please note that you may not get that so coveted Void with eight other Elements unless I feel your story deserves it.
11. Absolutely no messing with my images. I know that the adult images are rather large, so you can resize those a tad bit (or ask me to if you want), but no flipping them, recoloring them, claiming them as your own, etc. I suppose you can write their name on the picture if you want.
12. You can suggest some names for your dragon, and chances are I will use it, since the Myrsilk have no real naming system. Please don't suggest -th names, though, these dragons are absolutely not related to that. (As well, I would prefer you not suggest names from one of the various online worlds that have been created, but sometimes a name is just too cool to pass up.) Unless you say otherwise, I will not use your names for other dragons.
13. Please join the Yahoo group, the link is on the main page. All updates will be posted on there.
14. Don't send in more than three candidates for a clutch. If you want to send more, send me an email, and we'll discuss it.
15. I'm not going to make you put anything in the comments, but please don't break any of these rules, you'd just be hurting your chances of becoming a bonder.
16. Please link back to the main page ( http://www.oocities.org/silveredmagic/index.html ) clearly. No "here" or "there" links. Acceptable names for here are: Clan Akelara (preferred), Realm of the Summoner, The Realm, or Myrsilk.
