| Opening late April 1st 2006 due to rain, Goliath is Six Flags Over Georgia's first and only hyper coaster. Standing at a height of over 200 feet at apex of first drop, the first drop will take you 170 feet, second 175 feet, third 129 feet, fourth 118 feet, fifth 79 feet, sixth 56 feet, and finally the seventh 48 feet. Top speeds have been reported over 70 miles per hour for a ride time of 3.5 minutes from load to unload over 4,480 feet of track. Goliath sits from the USA section to outside of the park consisting of a ride area of 8.5 acres Goliath runs 2 trains with 9 cars each and in its prime can run over 1,200 riders in one hour.
