Intel processors -
The Intel processors are a good choice for Intel-designed systems; this is because you most likely do not need a BIOS upgrade for an Intel processor.  When adding Intel MMX processors to older systems, you will want to check the BIOS for MMX compatability.

The bad part about the Intel processors is that Intel has abandonded the socket 7.  This means that there are no more upgrade options avalible from Intel beyond their 233 MHz processor.  There is talk about a 266 MHz Laptop socket 7 processor, however it is uncertain when it will be released and if it will work with the PowerLeap adapter.
