It's been a slow news month! But I've got a couple of Michelle Branch contests for you to enter. You can click here to enter the Wetseal contest. The grand prize is a personal MB concert where you can invite 50 of your friends, an autographed guitar and a private guitar lesson from Michelle, and a $1500 shopping spreee at any Wetseal store!! Unfortunately, you have to be 13 years of age to enter this contest online, but I think you enter the contest at any Wetseal store if you are under 13. And then there is this MB contest where the grandprize is a Michelle Branch concert at your school. 3/10/02--Hey.Here are some shows to see Michelle Branch on next week! * 3/12 Late World with Zach (VH-1) 11 pm * 3/16 Hosting The Hook Up (MTV) 8pm- 10pm 3/6/02-- As you can see,I have made quite a few changes to the site!I am working on changing the galleries and profile and stuff like that to this theme right now, so when you see that some things don't quite match, you now know why.I will update soon! 2/28/02-- Woohoo! michelle Branch got #1 on MTV's TRL!!!! It's about time they had some decent music on there :)! (lol). Good job to all of those who voted for her on TRL!! 2/17/02-- Hi! It's official, Attack TRL day is Feburary 20th. Michelle will perform on TRL with her band on Feb 21st. Voting counts for the next day, so to make sure "All You Wanted" is on the countdown, we all need to vote on Feb 20th! I met Michelle Branch at the Chicago concert on 2/15!! It was pretty brief, I only talked to her for a few seconds and she signed my ticket. I waited out in the cold in front of her tour bus for two hours and I got the autographs of the two guitarists, the bus driver, and some guy who I am not really sure who he is, lol, (I think it was the manager?). Well, all the people who worked at the venue said that she went to her hotel already, but I stayed anyway just in case. And then I went inside the lobby of the venue (by now it was about 12:15 am) because I was cold, and then like ten minutes later she came into the lobby holding a bag of potato chips and a tub of ranch dressing, lol!!! I got her autograph and she was really nice. But then she went out the backdoor and ran into her tour bus without signing any autographs, so all the people waiting outside for her didn't get to meet her (that must have been really dissapointing). 2/15 will forever go down as one of the best days of my life, lol. So, here is some advice for you if you want to meet Michelle: 1. always try to meet either before or after the show 2. try to stay in small groups, she is more likely to sign autographs for a small group then a larger one ( ex: instead of waiting in the large group outside of her tour bus, move into the smaller group in the lobby). 3. Unless you see her leave or her tour bus is gone, never believe it when the people who work at the venue say that she has already left. They are most likely lying because they want to get the crowd to leave. 4. Always have a pen and something for her to sign handy 5. If you wait and wait and wait and then she fails to sign an autograph and runs on to her tour bus, don't be mad at her, and don't stop being her fan. Just put yourself in her situation : it 's midnight, you are exhausted and you have to get up early in the morning to go to your next venue. Would you want to stop and sign autographs for fifty people? Plus maybe she wants to sign your autograph, but she can't because her managment told her not to. I am currently working on a review of that concert along with a lot of other stuff for this site which should be up soon. 2/8/02-- Hey guys! Check this out, The NEW "All You Wanted" video and a sweepstakes! , ...click here 2/5/02 -- It's official! You will be able to see Michelle's video for "All You Wanted" on MTV's regular rotation! Starting next week, MTV will be playing the video 1 or 2 times a day! This will really help the fans get the video onto TRL!.We are rounding up all of the fans to launch a special Attack TRL day on Wednesday, FEB 6th. 1/23/02--YAY!
