Acutely aware of an imbalanced health care system, IMAN has conducted a preliminary “needs and resource assessment” towards establishing a freestanding, full-time community health clinic in the communities it serves. Currently, IMAN’s Health Clinic Initiative operates every other Sunday and provides comprehensive medical services to an underserved population.
While the Health Clinic Initiative aspires to have its own facility in the future, it is through the generosity of a local Muslim physician that IMAN now provides these services in an existing and furnished clinic next to the IMAN office.
