Hi, my name is Misty

AKA Misty Doll Baby. That's 'cause I'm about the cutest, sweetest little thing there ever was.  Even Mooch and Sam spoil me.  They'll let me get away with just about anything, including taking their food if I want.  Every one loves me and I love everyone. I just started growing my topknot back out.  I guess Tater thought she was the only one who should have a topknot a while back.  She was always pulling my rubber band out of my hair so I was ending up with my hair hanging down over my nose most of the time.  Mom didn't think that was so good (and neither did I) so she gave me bangs instead. Ha! Now Tater don't have a topknot no more and I do -- well sort of -- it's getting there.

I was pouting here.  I'd gotten a bath earlier.  Don't much care for baths.  Mom had blown my hair dry a bit, I don't much care for that either.  So she wrapped me in a small blanket and let me lay on the couch to keep me from getting chilled

That's Sam cleaning my ear.  I guess he's a typical big brother.  Sometimes he teases me until I get so upset that I run to Mom or Dad to be picked up.  Other times, he takes real good care of me.  Like cleaning my ears.  He does that on a regular basis.  First one ear than the other.  I like it, it feels oh so  good.

Did  you know  that sweet little babies like this are
Dying For Dollar$

If all dogs were as sweet and easily trained (she practically house broke herself) as Misty,  life would be easier for all dog owners.  However, this adorable little darling did not come without problems.  At the age of 3 weeks, she aspirated fluid and developed a quick form of pneumonia.  There were many times over the next two weeks that neither I nor our vet thought she would survive.  She was nearly 3 months old before she made a complete recovery.  The vet bills mounted to close to $300 for her illness alone.  She was worth every penny of it.  She shows her affection by giving lots of hugs and kisses when she is picked up.  Yes, she gives hugs, by snuggling her head up underneath your chin.

Not all puppies are so sweet and easily trained.  Not even ones of the same breed or even the same litter.  Check out Misty's brother, Sam, and you'll see what I mean.
