In Memory
This page is dedicted to hamsters we loved and lost. But they remain with us in our hearts.
Lexi
Our first hamster at this hamstery - Brian's first hamster ever. He used to come when we called his name. He had a very active and happy life, and we doted on him. His offspring include Veronica & Valerie. Lexi died of old age and I was with him at the end. We love you, Lexi.
Leah
We bought Leah and her sister Emily from Jill, a breeder. (She isn't currently breeding now). We were very happy with her - she was shy, sweet and loving. She was a very good mommy to her two litters, which included Veronica,Valerie and Snuggly. She died in her sleep from old age.
Midnight
Midnight was also Leah's daughter, who went to live with her new mommy Victoria in Pennsylvania. She was very playful and a lot of fun, but sadly she died mysteriously at only five months old. She is greatly missed.
Chinook
Goodbye, Chinook - you were such a good hamster! You lived a nice long life, though, and you made the Bersee family and you mother Hannah very happy. But we still miss you!
Malibu
Oh, Malibu ... how did you catch pneumonia when all the other hamsters in your house were fine? Antibiotics didn't save you - though we tried ... you were so beautiful and we are so sad to say goodbye.
Emily
One of my favorite pictures of Emily. I can't believe she's gone! She was with us over two years, and was always so much fun and so beautiful. We will miss you so much, Emily, but your descendants will live on.
Keebler
Goodbye, Keebs, our little traveler! Born in Canada, moved to Ohio and Pennsylvania in your short little life. Keebler was one of those special hamsters who was always playful and just loved attention, and we loved him in return. He will be missed.
Twinky
Goodbye, Twinky! This beautiful cinnamon banded female was the pride and joy of her owner, Emily, and it's so sad to have to say farewell. Twinky lived a nice long life, though, and made her family very happy.
