Short's Texas Skirmishing
This is the index page of my site devoted to North-South Skirmish Association style black powder live fire competion, known as "skirmishing", as it is available in Texas. The primary venue in the state for this is at the Alamo Muzzleloading Gun Club, loacted in LaCoste, TX, 20 miles SW of San Antonio. This range is host to units of two national skirmishing organizations, the CWSA (based in the west), and the N-SSA (based in the east). The main page is labeled Skirmishing in Texas. From there you can access the different units and schedules. Below are links to various historical sites of interest relating to the role of Texas in the War Between the States. If you are in joining or forming a skirmishing unit you can e-mail me by clicking on the link at the bottom or call me at 830/896-1688.
