Skirmishing in Texas!!
A resource for N-SSA and CWSA skirmishers in the Lone Star State
Late in the afternoon of the 16th, the enemy's skirmishers advanced into the woods in front of my position. They were held in check by my riflemen and the Texas skirmishers.

Several local skirmishers are members of Forrest's Escort Company (Deep South Region) and the 8th Texas Cavalry (Northeast Region) of the N-SSA

The Texas Region of the CWSA and  is currently inactive. The 2003 and 2006 CWSA Nationals were held at Alamo Muzzle Loading Gun Club in LaCoste, Texas. Click here for pictures.  AMLGC still hosts Civil War skirmishes and individual minie ball matches on a periodic basis.
