So.. you one of the *many* people frustrated with damn Yahoo! PageBuilder?? Well here are a few things that just may help.... GOOD LUCK!

Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out my site!! **New Update** - Hey again! I wanted to let you all know that I am working on my site to add onto this page with new and more information to help with your common and frustrating problems with PageBuilder, so check back in soon!! It is currently August 28th, 2003 as I am here typing this, I am planning on having this new info up by the 5th as planned, possibly sooner. PageBuilder Help...requirements

1) Do you have any type of firewall, pop-up blocker, parental content advisor, anti-virus, virus e-mail scanners, or any other security programs downloaded or installed that are on your computer?? ** OK, disable everything! Yes, PageBuilder cannot launch with any type of security program on your computer. Disable everything before you even sign in at Yahoo geocities. And yes this will maximize your chances of insecure sites harming your computer if you are at any other site while your running PageBuilder, but my advice is don't be at any other sites while using/launching PB, do not have any other programs running. Make sure to re-enable your firewalls, anti-viruses, pop-up blockers, etc.,.,. after your done running PB.

2) Are you trying to launch PageBuilder from a school, workplace, or local library? ** That might just be your problem. If your running or trying to launch PB at school, work, or any other public place then you will run into some problems. Schools, workplaces and other places have different settings on their computers such as log in programs, different Java settings, special security programming that you cannot disable. My best advice, do not run or launch PB from school or work. Please use your own computer at home or friends, because of security reasons and overall outcome.

3) Do you have a screen saver on your computer?? ** Get rid of it! Pagebuilder has a problem with screen savers, and before you run PB please try and get rid of your screen saver. You can do this by going and selecting NONE for your screen saver.

4) Are your internet security settings on high?? ** Change them. You can do this by clicking tools, then internet options, then security, then advanced, and last click medium or low.

5) Is your Java up to date?? If not then that is critical in order to make PB run properly. ** Go to http://java.sun.com/getjava/download.html

6) Have you had your screen name for over a year and Yahoo PB won't launch? ** Get a new screen name and a new account with Yahoo, then PB just may work out for you!

7) Try logging in at a different time, sometimes Yahoo is too crowded and many things can happen that disrupt the servers and making it impossble for you to launch PB.
