While held in high regard by some academics, Flemish Filmmaker Turge Babonet continues to engender controversy in the industry he calls "his child".  While information about his accomplishments are questionable at best, many still consider "the Flemish Orson Welles (sic)" a force to be reckoned with.

A researched version of his filmography is now available.

Here are a few things Mssr. Babonet should have never said, but did.

The purpose of this site is to shed some light on the damage this man has done to the careers and aspirations of our family in the Film Industry. We are collecting the stories and letting them speak for themselves. Our mission has just started, but you may read two of the entries here and here. In the spirit of fairness, we present an account from someone who had a favorable impression of the man, which can be found here.

We want to hear from you. If you have encountered or had the misfortune of working with Mr. Babonet, please contact us.

Several sources have claimed to be in possession of raw footage from his latest venture. We'll believe it when we see it.

A low-level intern at Ain't It Cool News claims Turge Babonet was expunged from the Internet Movie Database due to improprieties in his listing for taking credit for productions where no credit is due, and sent the following screenshot to back up her claims. As Mike Drudge would say...developing...

Every effort has been made.made to keep these pages as accurate as possible, but as Turge Babonet remains an enigma, no warranties can be expressed or implied. Several agencies have attempted to shut this site down on his behalf, but we will not be intimidated.

Ebay auctions offer to key Mr. Babonet's silver 2004 Mercedes S500
Turge Babonet is offering you the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to key his car and pour sugar in the gas tank... oh, I'm sorry, he's allowing anyone with a credit card to bid on washing and waxing his 2004 Mercedes S500. If I'm not mistaken, this is the same car he got out a questionable car insurance settlement and used as collateral in his last featurette.
Maybe if you're lucky, you'll get thirty seconds to pitch your film project. Don't smirk, it could be well worth it. Check the auction here!
