Storium was developed to be a 'store of stories'.
It is a collection of observations, 'facts', boasts and reflections.
Some of the 'mini-stories' will quickly lose relevance,
but this artwork aims to capture certain points in time.
Some 'stories' may only be 'lightly real', others may be 'totally unreal' - being said makes them important.
The ordering of texts aims to bring out some of the ironies
within differing viewpoints without casting much judgement.
The largely unpunctuated lines aim to give 'equal voice'
to the varied voices in the chosen texts.
The collection of 200 texts had 3 types of visualisation - each visualisation having its own story as to why it was to be so,
or not to be so.
I thank those who contributed texts, publishers or authors who gave permission to use their writings, the Council for commissioning the artwork and the three Community Reps
who helped shape the final version of texts presented.
