Episode 5 - Tooya's Destiny
Tooya goes super-man on the scary thug people, while injured Aki watches from the ground. Tooya makes a quick mess of them, then tells Aki to go back to the Mikage house. Aki says he's not going back there with a grandfather who would kill his own grandchild, and that he's going to find Aya. Tooya asks if that's enough for him, and Aki says that he had to, Aya is stubborn, but she has weak points. Tooya asks the dumb question of if Aki's worried, and he replies with of course, she's the only sister he has.
Aya wakes up later on in the night, and peeks into Yuuhi's room, but he's not in there. Only a small book laying in the middle of the floor, with folklore of Japan. In it is the story of the tennyo ; "One day, a man was walking along the sea, he saw some beautiful maidens bathing there, and on a pine tree nearby, there were beautiful robes hanging from the branches. He realized they belonged to the tennyo, and took one home with him. The tennyo who's robe was stolen couldn't return to heaven without it, and she saw the young man and asked him "Have you seen my hagoromo? If you have it, please return it to me" The man lied to her, and said he didn't have it, and the tennyo, now bound to the planet, soon became his wife. Years later, she heard her children singing a song about a man who hid a robe. This lead her to find her hagoromo, and she returned to heaven, leaving her husband and children behind."
Tooya's suave car pulls up somewhere, and Aki doesn't really know where he took them, Tooya says it was the Aogiri home, where Aya is. Aki's quite shocked that Tooya bought him here, but Tooya says he can only stay there for one night, and to not mention him to Aya. Aki asks if he knew anything about her, but he gets no answer, and simply thanks Tooya.
Aya wonders about the tennyo, the story said she returned to heaven, but apparantly she didn't since she was reborn into Aya. Aya's sitting in the hallway again, facing the garden, when she hears someone call her name, who could it be? She looks out into the garden, and can't belive her eyes, Aki's standing there! She runs out to hug him, and Yuuhi happens to come by as this is happening, he sees Aki, and doesn't really know who he is, so tries to chase Aya. But Suzumi grabs him, and explains that he's her twin brother.
Aki jokes around saying that she got thinner since her birthday, and that she ususaly only spoke of dieting with no action. Aya calls him stupid then hugs him [awww sibling reunion! n.n] telling him she was so worried about him. Q-san is recording this, and Suzumi asks Yuuhi to make something great for them to eat. Yay for Yuuhi's cooking! Aya asks Aki how he got away from grandpa, and Aki sort of slips.. "Oh it was Too... a nice person bought me here!" Oopsie for Aki. XD Aya catches on to his slip-up, and wonders why Tooya bought him there.
Now we're back in Aya's room, and Yuuhi is gawking at the scars all over Aki's body ,who was slipping on a robe [:: fans self :: Woo shirtless Aki!] but Aki says that the scars don't bother him. A nice compliemt to Yuuhi's cooking, and then Aki thanks them for taking care of Aya, and says that he doesn't really know what's going on exactly. He asks Aya is she knows why grandpa is after her, but she says she doesn't know. She does know though, she just doesn't wanna worry him with the truth. Yuuhi goes back into his room and bids them goodnight.
Now it's night, and Aya asks Aki if they can hold hands, they used to do it when they were little, and it always made Aya feel safe. She asks Aki is he's the same, and he says of course he is, and to just sleep because he'll be right there [;o; What a caring brother!]. But uh-oh. A little bit later, Aki is sleeping happily and soundly, when two hands come toward him, take his blanket off, and kindly open up his robe, which give us all a pretty view of Aki from the waist up, and all of the scars on his body [:: FAN-GIRL SCREAM :: That looks like something I would do to Aki in his sleep :x] Now we see a shadow of a woman leaning over Aki, and she grabs his neck and starts choking him, well this wakes Aki up.
And it's Ceres, claiming that she found him, the scars all over him make her believe he is the man who shamed her, and demands to him that he return her robe. [not like he can really answer her], for a moment we see someone's hand, oh who could it be? But a sword seems to slip out from this persons wrist. Ceres is still strangling poor Aki, and suddenly, Tooya appears and slashes at Ceres, who quickly leaps into the air. We also see Aki laying on the floor. [and damnit it if only that part of the robe would slip off too. XD] Ceres is angry that Tooya's there again, and all the racket wakes Yuuhi up, who is shocked to see Ceres.
Aki notices that the robe on Ceres is the same one Aya was wearing. Ceres tells Tooya to move away from Aki, because he is her sworn enemy. Tooya doesn't move, and tells Aki they need to leave, because that's not his sister, Ceres says she's not going let them get away, and that Aki wasn't Aki, the scars all over his body proved it. She sends a blast, but it has no effect on Tooya, Ceres is surprised at this. Tooya said it's his job to protect Aki, but theeeen Aki pushes Tooya out of the way and hugs Ceres, knowing that she and Aya are the same, he says that they finally got to be together again, and hopes that this can change her back. This pisses Ceres off greatly and she shoves him away.
Ceres then tells them that when she came to earth, a man called Mikage took her robe away and she was unable to return home. Pointing to Aki, she says that she gave that man those injuries with her own power, and that she is going to destory the whole Mikage family. Aki doesn't believe that he could be that person Ceres talked about, but she says he's the only one who knows where her hagoromo is. Suzumi tells Yuuhi to turn her back into Aya before she kills Aki. Aki says that he doesn't know anything about a hagoromo, and that he was Aki, and Ceres was Aya. But Ceres says it doesn't matter, and that every Mikage is her enemy.
She's about to strike again, when Yuuhi grabs her arm telling her to turn back into Aya. Ceres says no, and that Aya was going to stay asleep until she finishes what she was re-born to do, while she's talking to Yuuhi, Tooya tells Aki they need to leave before things thet worse, and they make their escape. Ceres is about to stop them, and Yuuhi has no other choice but to kiss her again! Q-san is recording the kiss, and Suzumi has no idea why he's doing that, but Ceres turns back into Aya. Aya sees Tooya and Aki going away, and shoves Yuuhi's head into the sliding door to chase after them. And Q-san records Yuuhi's head on the other side of the door. n.n
A little down the street, Kagami is waiting with a car, and tells Aki to get in. Aya is running after them still, but when she gets there, the car is driving away with Aki in it, Tooya is still standing there, so Aya demands to know where they took Aki, then wants to know what happened, if she tried to hurt Aki and him as a tennyo again. But Tooya suggests that she cover up first, because her robe is hanging off [and she covers herself with her arms rather than pulling the robe back up. o.O;] Tooya says that his car is nearby, and that she can come with him if she wants.
So now they're at Tooya's appartment, which was given to him by Kagami, and Aya's a bit nervous, Tooya asks if she's afraid of him and says that she should make herself at home, but either way she goes and showers, wondering why she followed him. When she gets out, Tooya tells her to stay away from Aki for both of their sakes. She sits down and asks him who he is, and if Kagami hired him, but he says he doesn't know anything about his family or himself, only the names Tooya, and Mikage. And says that Kagami told him he could get his memory back for him if he worked for them.
Aya asks if Tooya meant to stay away from Aki because she attacked him, and Tooya said it was just fate, Aya doesn't want to believe that she has no control over her fate, and then asks Tooya if because of fate, and she and he will have to become enemies. Tooya doesn't answer, only tells her that she's shaking. So she stands and walks over to the bed Tooya allowed her to sleep in, and she sees something on the table. Tooya said Aki gave it to him and asked him to give it to Aya, and when Aya opens it, inside are two blood-colored earrings. The same present she got for him as well. [:: weeps :: ;o;!]
Aya starts to cry a bit, when Tooya comes up and hugs her from behind, saying he'll hold her until she stops shaking, and if she doesn't like it to just push him away. But she doesn't. T.T; And now curls up on his lap and falls to sleep thinking that he might be her enemy, but she wants to stay like that because she loves him.
