STUDENT VIEWS

Description Of The School By Students

 Ndarama Secondary School

Located a few kilometers from the town center of Masvingo in Zimbabwe, opposite the Masvingo Technical College.  It was built in 1985 by some students of the Victoria Secondary School and occupies about 7 acres. Consist of at least 19 blocks. Comprises of two netball pitches, two football pitches, one basketball pitch, one orchard for different fruits and the other 2 acres used for growing maize crops. The School carries a capacity of about 2 000 both students and it’s teachers and each teacher teaches one to two subjects. Each student does at least 8 to 9 subjects.

I like History because it helps me to know all about the events which occurred in the past and the origin of my country Zimbabwe which is in Africa, that is and of other foreign countries like the USA [United States of America], China, Britain and many more. In other words all African, European, and Austrian, Asian’s origins.

Ndarama Secondary School

Ndarama is situated opposite the Masvingo-Technical-College, in Masvingo City in Zimbabwe. It is situated about two kilometers from the city center.

Built by some students from Victoria -High -school, it was completed in that very year. Comprises of two foot ball pitches, two net ball pitches, one orchard for oranges and another one for different fruits. Two acres for growing maize crops. There are 60 teachers at this school. The school carries a capacity of about 2 000 students. There are 19 building blocks.  Each classroom is allowed to accommodate an average of 40 students.

I like History because it helps me to know what happened in the past. It teaches me how my ancestors surrendered our country to the settlers.  Not only how Zimbabwe was colonised, but other countries like Mozambique, South Africa and Zambia.

Ndarama Secondary School

Its such a nice school located about a few kilometers from Masvingo town, which is in Zimbabwe.

It’s along Masvingo Beitbridge road. It also has good flowered grounds. Students at Ndarama are about more than 2000. At this school there are male and female teachers. The subjects which are done are many and they include Practicals such as Fashion and Fabrics, Food and Nutrition, Metal Work and Wood work..

I like history because it’s a subject, which tells more about our country and the origin of many things such as how Zimbabwe was colonised by white settlers. It also tells about how people of the past live and what they wear, eat and how they evolve up to what we are now. History also tells about other countries.
