Homage to PongoBeautiful spotty Pongo - our beloved dalmation

I will always remember this beautiful deaf dog who was my companion for the better part of four years. His name of course was chosen by my children, but be warned, anyone thinking of buying a dalmation - these dogs can suffer from hereditary deafness, so choose carefully. Having said that, however, Pongo learnt sign language and was never far from my side. The only time was, to my ever lasting regret, when he somehow managed to get out of the garden gate and decided to go for an explore... He never made it back across the main road. He died at home in my arms three days later.

Artw0rk...

I must confess I haven't picked up a paintbrush in years. All the other stuff is ancient. These are more recent doodles done on the computer from photographs, using mainly Adobe Photoshop in its trial form, to get the hang of it.

There is one self-portrait - the rest naturally are my kids...
Worked on self-portrait in my mother's study    My son Alex, splashing in the sea
My daughter Sophia - the moon is never too far!   Sophia and Alex - both wrapped in a cheeky plastic hug!
