Little Arkansas is a six year old thoroughbred gelding that was born in Arkansas, USA. He was a racehorse for a while and then was going to be sold in the US as a jumper. However, upon his new buyers vetting him, the vet found a sore spot on his back. Since the soreness limited him in his jumping, the buyers didn't want him. In November, his owners told Tanya about him and Tanya, knowing that Sara needed a new horse, introduced Arky to Sara. Arky and Sara started off really slowly, mostly walking, because Arky had the whole summer off and had a bit of an edge on him. By December Sara took Arky into a walk and trot dressage show, and this past summer Sara was jumping Arky consistantly. Arky is now being half leased by Daniella San-Martin Feeny, and is jumping 2'6 courses, with the odd 2'9 jump. Arky is doing well and is getting better every day.
