Big Brother Las Vegas is
over and the winner has been crowned. Joshua
outplayed 11 other people to claim the title of
champion. The final vote was a close one, just one
vote separated second place from first, but it was
Joshua who had the votes fall in his favor.
He joins us now to
talk about the game and the people he got to play it
with. He reveals how he feels about the earning the
title of Big Brother Las Vegas Champion!
What was your strategy going into this game?
JOSHUA: Well i think that my strategy
going into this game was very simple....to make as
many friends as I could and hope that those
friednships would get me far...Well yes that did work
i won the game...lol....When i entered the game i saw
that the whole group of us were one big family and i
loved how the atmosphere worked out the way it did.
When this happened I knew that the end game would be
quite an interesting one at that since we were all
such a close bunch of people.I knew that when it got
to the last 5 or 6 people left in the house heads
would fly when someone got the boot... I was not
surprised that my assupmtions were VERY true when teh
end of teh game was reached. I think that once there
were 6 people left in the house my strategy changed
slightly. I knew that from people's interviews they
were not hapy with the way i played the game and i
knew that i would have to try and turn myself around
so the people in the house would not see my as a LIAR
as i was portrayed many a time. I think when i saw
one person leave teh house one after another I saw a
slight pattern that I was the liar and teh
backstabber of every eviction as portrayed in the
interviews, even if there were 4 or 5 voters voting i
was pinpointed every time..lol. Once i saw this i
decided that the friends i had made i would keep
because they saw that my friendship was true and i
had to start playing the game with a backbone and
play my heart and what i beleived i had to do to move
on in the game.. I knew that once the game was over
people would see that we all signed up for a game and
people needed to see that a game is meant to be won
and the friendships made within teh game are SO VERY
important but when i am being portrayed as a player
and liar every time someone leaves there is no way to
change my so called reputation so i decided to not
care what other people thought and just play hard and
play well. I knew that i had made striong enough
friendships within the game to keep them when teh
game ended....which is the case now....i speak with
all of my cast members and on great terms..i love u
all....lol!
What were your first impressions of the people in the
game?
JOSHUA:
Justin: i actually talked to justin
on the first night and he was such an awsome person
that I hit it off with imediately. I think that if he
just kept involved he would have made it much furthur
then he did. He was a very funny character and i
would have loved to gt to know him more if he was
around.
Lisa: I hadnt talked to Lisa a great
deal, i didnt think i talked to her until evcition 1
but when i did she was such a great gal. I enjoyed
talking to her and she seemed liek she always had so
much energy and things to discuss.
Kimberley: i hadnt talked to kim
that much when she was in the house but she did seem
like quite a fun girl to talk to...I find it funny
but i think i got to know her more after she left the
house and she is a great gal that tells it like it is
and i respect that greatly.
Leo: When i first met Leo i could
tell he was a very large presence in the house, he
was singing and giving people nicknames etc. He was a
really cool guy but i think i got the wrong
immpression of him, i just didnt have a good feeling
about him but i think that was just teh paranoia that
i had when teh game was in the early stages. Other
than that he is a good guy that i would love to chat
with again if he is ever online....lol
Jeremy: what can i say about
jeremy...lol...i think the firsst time i met him we
hit it off sooooo well....we were gossip buddies and
always had something to say to one another. So my
first immpresiion of him was very good not that my
opinion has changed.....that was just my first
immpresiion
Grace: Grace seemed like a very
sweet person from what i had heard from other
people.I had really not talked to her until we were a
little ways into the game cause we were always online
at different times but when i did get to know her she
was a great and funny gal and i felt terrible when i
had to evict her.
Diana: Diana was another sweetheart
that i had alot of fun with. She was always a great
gal to chat with and always had something interesting
to say.
Matt: Matt was an absolute great guy
from the get go and when i first met him i had
nothing but nice thoughts about him. I can say that
he has been the one houseguest that entered and left
the house exactly the same.
Elizabeth: I became very close with
liz in the beginning and that lasted throughout the
game.. Liz is like a little sister that u could joke
around with and i absolutely love her.
Tiffany: Tiffany was the frist girl
that i met in the house and we hit it off from the
get go. We could always talk on a nonsense or serious
level and that was a good thing to have at such an
early stage in the game.
Ian: Ian and I hit it off from day
1..we joked around the whole first night that we
received each others screenames...In the beginning i
never imagined i would make teh final 2 with him but
it was wonderful to do so since he was also one of
teh first ither than tiffany that i had met in the
house.
What was the hardest part of playing this game, the
challenges or the people? You weren't dominate in the
challenges, how do you think you made it to the final
two?
JOSHUA: I think the hardest part of
this game was trying to make it to the next week
after every eviction. I truly felt absolutely
terrible each week when eviction time came around and
i always thought well thats it, people are pissed
enough at me that i will be up and probably leave so
i better get ready and i always had that frame of
mind up until teh very end. The challenges were hard
but i knew if i lost some how some way i would talk
it up and still be around....or thats at least what i
was hoping...lol I think i was able to make the final
2 because i had made a lot of very true friendships
in the end and i think that that showed. I also will
not lie i know i am a smooth talker and told people
what they wanted to hear but that is just the game. I
think that i made it because i think everyone was
thinking about the end game and if u say u werent u
are lying, but anyways i think some people saw me as
easily beatable since i was getting the brunt of the
blame for each eviction as u can see from the
previous exit interviews..lol I think that in a final
2 situation people saw votes not coming my way
because of how i had played teh game previously. I
kind of saw it as people never really suspected me of
anything up until about diana's eviction as really
playing this game strategically and i think that the
people that were evicted before diana never saw that
side of me and it showed in the final voting by my 3
key votes all coming from houseguests that had exited
before diana had left..kim,lisa,and grace.
Were you surprised by the outcome of the final vote?
How hard were the final question/answer chat?
JOSHUA: I was shaking in my boots when
the votes came out as a tie because i was hoping that
wouldnt happen and i really did not see that
happening. I tried to figure out votes and i thought
i had it clinched when Diana imd me and told me i was
her guy and she was over her anger at me evicting her
and i would get her vote. I guess she chanegd her
mind but i thought with diana's vote i should be one
up without kim's vote. Kim's vote was my saving grace
and i thank her for that..i always said i had true
respect for that gal. The questions definitely scared
me..i knew i was gonna get some zingers, u BBLV
houseguests would never let me off that
easily..lol..Matt definitley surprised me when he
said my answer was a cop out and then voted for me
but i was expecting that from him because i knew that
he was gonna show the "matt that noone had seen
before the night of the finale." I also knew
that Jeremy would have something snide to say and he
didnt let me down..lol..but it really had no effect
on me since we all expect that from jeremy as
well...:-)
Is there anything you would like to say to the others
starting an online game? Any advice on how to win
perhaps?
JOSHUA:
All
i would have to say is play your heart and dont let
other people guide your decisions..Play the way u
want, if u feel u are playing a good game play the
game the way u are. Don't second guess yourself and
never look back or feel gulity. This is a game and
many people take it as more than that. If u want to
win then set out to win. But, make friendships along
the way that will last u for a very long time. If u
have made a true friend that person will know that it
is just a game and the relationship will continue
after the game... Love to all...Joshua....all my
words are true but i do have one more statement to
say that, some hosueguests in BBLV took being evicted
worse then some houseguests on Big Brother 1,2,or3...
which i found quite interesting
I just have some final words to each houseguest....
Justin: i wish u had had your
computer problems fixed because i know u would have
played a hell of a lot longer than u did....;-)
Lisa: U are a wonderful person and u
leaving the game was nothing against ur personal
character it was just a decision that was made on the
spur of the moment. Take care of those boys and good
luck with ur job..Love ya....:-)
Kimberley: I have the utmost respect
for you...even though i didnt talk to you a ton when
the game was on i felt i had a better relationship
with u when u left. Even though u cast the deciding
vote to make me the winner u are still A-ok in my
book even if u hadnt done that for me.
Leo: i think we got along and then
we had a misunderstanding. I think i got the wrong
impression of u but u are hilarious and a lively
person to have in any converstaion...I think if
anything me nominatiing u was in respect because u
were my biggest threat in my eyes and i think if u
hadnt gone u would have had this game by the
balls.....
Jeremy: i know u mean well and u did
everything in the game to try to stir everything up
and stir the pot to make teh rest of us uneven. U
accomplished that even though u were evicted in week
5 u kept on coming back into our lives. I feel u are
a good guy and i hope u have a wonderful happy life
with Corey u deserve it....Oh by the way i just wanna
say that ur predictions of what would happen in the
game were waaaaaaaaayyyyyy off and i am happy that i
proved u wrong in your prediction that i would be
gone and be in 4th place..lol.........
Grace: u are a sweetheart and i am
so happy i got to know u. I agree that maybe
sometimes i did not look so innocent in your eyes but
nothing i did was ever intentional to you cause i
truly do care for u...
Diana: i still do not get why u
changed ur vote but i still got love for you. U are
my girl and i hope we talk for a very long time.
Matt: u are a great guy that
deserves the best that life has to offer. I do kind
of think that u took the game a little more seriously
then u let on but i have nothing but respect for you
cause that is all u have ever shown me.....U are
definitely a force to be reckoned with under all that
kindness...
Elizabeth: I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH...u
are a great gal and dont let anyone ever tell u any
differently. I know u just wanted to play the game
and u played the game great..I wish u the best of
luck in whatever u do and i cant wait to play in
allstars with you so we can do it all over
again...WHORE...lol
Tiffany: U are such a kind and
genuine person that i can talk to about absolutely
anything. I loved being in the final 3 with you i
know we had a lot of fun..U definitely scared me in
challenges and u almost had me at family feud so
leave the game proud that u definitely had me
thinking that my days were done that night...
Ian: u are one of my closest friends
that i have made in the game. I do think that u might
have thought u had this game in the bag when we went
to the finals but i am so happy that the vote was 4-3
because even though we were both shaking in our
overstuffed chairs in the living room a 4-3 vote says
alot about our character and how we played the game.
We definitely had a blast and i am glad that in the
end it was you and i.......
I love you all...this game has taught me sooo many
life lessons that i will cherish forvever and will
always stay with me so thank u all for leaving a
footprint in my heart because u each most definitely
did.....Peace and Love..It has been real...Josh...now
walking out of the front door of the Big Brother Las
Vegas house and closing it forever....Goodnight
All.....fade to
black.........................................................................
....................
I think that says it all. Good bye from all of us
here at BIG BROTHER LAS VEGAS!
