| Having acquired new 24 bit technology, I decided to re-record the original release in order to improve the overall presentation. The album has been re-arranged and takes advantage of some beautiful string and choir mellotron samples which I had always intended to use on a future project. Therefore what began as a simple experiment of re-doing only one of the songs on the original release, turned rapidly into an exhaustive project. I also re-did much of the vocal work which had received negative feedback from some reviewers; The album will replace the original release and will be available through Fossil Records early in the new year. Thanks to the talented James Sebor (surrealist artist extraordinaire) we also have a new cover which fits the spirit of the album concept brilliantly. The new cd be submitted for review to some of the major sites and mags. I am certain it will be seen as a much improved product; - John Alarcon |
