Day 8-10   Body Work  (continued)

These photos show the work done on the passenger side quarter and rocker panels. I stripped the paint off the bottom half of the quarter panel and on all of the rocker panel. The old paint was too pitted to try to smooth out and paint over. I repeated this process on the driver's side.

Day 11-16   Body Work

This stage of the project took a while. Everything was sanded in preparation of paint. The dash was completely gutted so that the metal frame could be painted. The steering column was sanded and prepped for paint. The underside of the hood and hatchback were prepped as well. The fiberglass front nose took over eight hours to prep. Don't think that because you bought a brand new fiberglass part, it going to be perfect and ready for paint!!

Engine compartment/jambs/under hood and under hatch look great with the fresh paint see
