Tricky Tangrams . . .     Sam Loyd and others

At 61, Sam Loyd published his book of tangram patterns.  The year?  1903!  Do a web search to learn more about him and Henry Ernest Dudeney.  Lewis Carroll is also in the mix . . . I was lucky to find a copy of "The Eighth Book of Tan," Loyd's book, through a book site on the internet a couple of years ago.  I've just finished putting my solutions to his puzzles onto my computer, as well as many of the variations they have inspired.  Here are a few tangrams guaranteed to challenge you.  I'll add a page which will give you a hint toward the solutions . . .  Enjoy them ;)
