| Story: New York City. A young kitten named Oliver is the only one of a nest of kitten who has not been taken home. So he must try to survive on the streets. After the first lonely and wet night, he meets Dodger, a dog with attitude. He knows his way arround and know how to survive. Oliver and Dodger steal some food, but Dodger says farewel and leaves with the food. Oliver follows him and ends up joining the club of Dodger, some dogs who live in an old boat in the harbour. Their owner, Fagan, owes a man names Sykes money. Sykes wants it back in three days. So the dogs and Fagan have to find a way to get the money. When they see a limo coming round the corner, the gang knows where to find some money. With a good plan they make the car stop and Tito and Oliver jump in. Not everything turns out as planned and Oliver is left behind. The girl in the car is Jenny, who parents are abroad. She is lonely and sees in Oliver a friend. She takes him home, where also a dog named Georgettes lives. She doesn't like Oliver at all. The gang follows her home and make a plan to get Oliver back. Next morning when Jenny goes to school, they break in and take Oliver home. But Oliver liked Jenny and wants to be with her. Now he has to choose between the gang or Jenny. Dodger is hurt because he saw Oliver as his pupil. Fagan has a plan, when he sees the expensive nametag of Oliver. He writes a letter to Jenny and tells her that Oliver has been kidnapped. Jenny comes to look for Oliver and Sykes catches her so he can get more money from the wealthy father of Jenny. Fagan feels bad about what happened and together woth the gang they rescue Jenny. A wild chase follows through the subways of New York, and in the end Sykes is defeated. Oliver stays with Jenny, but he will alsways be part of the gang. |
