Physical Description: |
Sondraun is a pleasant melding of Vekora and Lo’shee features, giving him a unique appearance that, for the longest time, protected him from the hatred of everything Lo’shee. His ears are long and swept back like a Lo’shee, but have a more fox-like appearance than is typical for one. His muzzle is shorter and fox-like, missing the muzzle-marks that are typically found on a Lo’shee, instead being covered in short, silvery fur that extends to cover his entire body. He has a long mane of midnight blue, a corresponding tuft also graces the tip of his tail, both courtesy of his Lo’shee side. His front paws are more Lo’shee than Vekora, though, consisting of five fingers and an opposable thumb and are generally larger than one would expect, giving him a look similar to that of a pup still growing into his full size. Though his fingers are thick and heavy looking, they’re long (four joints instead of just three) and more nimble than one would expect. His tail is long, slim, and agile, a tribute to his Lo’shee side. Sondraun’s legs are much like a normal dragon’s hind legs, ending in large, four toed paws tipped in short, blunt claws. Sondraun’s furriness gives him the ability to walk about without clothes on without being indecent. Most times, though, he’ll bow to other’s sense of discomfort and wear a loose tunic and loin cloth, both of pale silver cloth. |
Personality: |
Sondraun, honestly, just wants to be accepted for who he is. He wants everyone to be accepted for who they are, and will do his best to achieve that goal, though he won’t turn to violence. His Lo’shee heritage gives him a strong aversion to violence and bloodshed, and he feels that, as every life is sacred – even the life of a monster – then fighting in the name of any cause is sacrilege. Even though his powers of telepathy and empathy give him the tools to control and alter the minds of others, he’s strongly against that as well, feeling that free thought is another right granted to all by Aveis and Neneul, and that to take that away is courting disaster. In short, he’s a peacemaker who will always strive to avoid war and suffering.
As he was raised with the best of intentions – before, of course, his village discovered his heritage – he knows what a good life is like, and is beginning to look to other beings, beings that might be outcasts or looked down upon, and gather them about himself, to give them a place of support and comfort when they need one. |
