WAN Physical Topology

The WAN will be based on a two-layer hierarchical model. Three (3) regional Hubs will be established at the District Office/Data Center, Service Center and Shaw Butte Elementary School for the purpose of forming a fast WAN core network. School locations will be connected into the WAN core Hub locations based on proximity to the Hub.

  1. There will be one  T1 Link connect each school to the Core. 
  2. The Core to Core connection will be done by Four T1 Links :T1(4)
  3. One Frame-Relay Link from Data Center will connect the Core to the Internet. 
  4. There will be ISDN links from the Core to each school.
