To answer the question if a tree fell down in the woods
and nobody was around to hear it fall.......would it make a noise? Well,
no worry, these guys are always in the right place at the right time.
They would hear it fall and are able to put that philosophical question
to shame. That's Patrick Tomafsky and Tom Petty playing their guitars
and singing to the trees. Oh by the way, that's our good friend Esan
Connell in the back giving a standing ovation for the musical skills of
Tom and Patrick or he is trying to pursue his lifelong dream of being the
first human to fly. By the way, this is not a commercial for Coke,
the soft drink just happened to be there and in no way will be able to
make you play the guitar better or make you fly.
That's me and my friend Michelle. Here we are at the Crowbar in State College, Pa. The Crowbar is known to be the small concert venue at Penn State. It has been a venue for bands from Live to Third Eye Blind to Vanilla Ice to Tone Loc to Our Lady Peace to Fuel and so on. Later that night after this picture was taken at the Crowbar some random person threw up on me and Michelle and before my shock wore off the random dude took off and he was never able to feel the wrath of Tim.
Ah yes, the beautiful building at University Park, Pa
called Old Main. As you can see, this was taken in the summer
of 1999(lower right hand). The office of the president of Penn State
resides here. If you want to protest something, this may be a good
place to start but since I am apathetic to many issues my protesting days
have never taken off.
This incredible landmark called Beaver stadium is home
to the Nittany Lions football team. Every home game packs this stadium
to full capacity and sometimes even more with attendance exceeding 100,000
fans. However on this day, only two people decided to show up.
That's Patrick on the left in the distance as well as his friend Kenny
on the right. Right now, the stadium is having an addition placed
on it so maximum attendance capacity can increase.
Pattee Library. A place full of books....a place
I have never entered into. Just kidding. Just to the right
of the library is the addition called the Paterno library. It is
named after of course the famous football coach Joe Paterno.
