Ah yes....the ticket stub from that night on Callow Hill
next to Historic Philadelphia. Notice the clean tear that the door
man ripped.....Way to go! The preciseness is uncanny.
Here we are at the Electric Factory parking lot ready
to listen to some tunes. Can you smile next time Tim? That's
Kendra, Patrick, and Tom Petty. Can you tell that Petty supports
the United States of America?
This is a look at the whole concert venue from the Electric
Factory!!! That's 3EB down on stage obviously. The Electric
Factory may look big from this picture but it is much smaller than how
this appears. Patrick took this picture....nice job!
Hey.....it's Stephan Jenkins, the lead singer of 3EB!
We were on the balcony over looking the stage below but to our surprise
Mr. Jenkins came up to where we were and sang the song Losing the Whole
Year. That is why I have these close ups courtesy of Tom Petty's
camera however I took the pictures due to my height. Not the best
pictures in the world but they will suffice. Stephan thought he was
the mad-hatter....what is up with the top hat anyhow???
Here's more pics of Stephan when he came up to right
where we were...one from the front and one from the back! Pretty
cool.
Another ticket stub from another concert...ho hum.
This concert was held at the Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State University.
Here's the band, Flea on bass to the left, Anthony on
lead vocals, Chad on drums in the back, and John on guitar. These
pictures were taken by Tom Petty. He went above and beyond the line
of duty to take these pictures as he was being thrown about in the mosh
pit. Thank you Tom for these exclusive photos.
Another pic of Anthony with Chad in the background.
I believe Anthony was talking to Flea at this point discussing how people
ride horses in State College as their means of transportation. I'm
not sure how they got that idea but it was funny anyhow.
This picture was taken from the Digital
Collegian. Here's Flea striking the bass guitar like he has always
done in that undulating fashion. The band was on fire that night
and it seems they have finally put their difficult times behind them.
