I got lucky, this Altima was Nissan's Show Car

When purchasing this car I was looking at several different makes and models.  I was looking at buying a BMW 325, '04 Subaru WRX,  '04 RSX, '04 Celica GTS, '04 Eclipse GTS  or  the coveted 350z.

Some of you may be thinking, this guy's an idiot, he bought a four door sedan over a 350z, a turbocharged WRX,  or the prestigious BMW.  The Z was out of the price range. The Bimmers, although comftorable, performance wise were not on par with the Altima, also out of the price range..  The WRX, a fast car off the line but not to great for 'highway racing' and I wanted a V6.  By the way the WRX is only two tenth's of a second faster then the Altima.  The Altima's zero to sixty is 5.7sec compared to the WRX's 5.5sec..  By the way I smoked one of a 30mph roll on. The Celica and RSX have high reving engines and 6 speed manuals but too slow stock.  I had the 04 Eclipse GT last year for a month but it wasn't as fast, in-fact , I think Mitsubishi killed off the Eclipse.  Remember the previous all wheel drive turbocharged beasts. 

I weighted in all my options and all around the Altima had more to offer then all these cars, except the 350z.  Also it had the VQ35DE engine and so I decided to stick with a Nissan plus I'm a Nissan guy. 

This car was purchased over two years ago fulfilling the ten year dream of owning the Z.  For $6,000 you can't have more fun in any car out there.  This is an N/A but a rare one at that because it is a two seater.  Most N/A out there are 2 + 2.  It is lowered, equiped with a Dinan performance chip, custom made exhaust system, and a turbo spoiler.

I had a serious problem with people trying to steal it.  In two years its been broken into four times, miraculously they never got far enough to drive away.  This car has 2 alarms and they still keep coming back.  The last 2 times I almost caught the punks with my own hands.  There has been numerous brake-ins aswell and vandalism.  Maybee I pissed off to many people on the street, that might be the case.  Theres some pics in my galleries where you can see some of this stuff.


This car is now for sale as I am looking for aquiring a Z32TT.
