The Swingers are back in old form with a decisive victory over a quality Sneaky Pete's team. The game went the distance, but was never really close. The final was a 22 to 10 beating. There were two inside the park homeruns during the game. One by "The Fall Guy" Craig Gater and the other by the big hittin first baseman Jason. "Sticks were plentiful tonight, as was the beer. Nothing like a cool refreshing glass of Miller Lite on a hot night to make you want to play some slow pitch softball," Dakota "no hustle" Einfeldt. The Medium Sized Unit notched another win even though his heat was missing a little something. "All of that training has put Duane down a little in size, and delivery. I think he is flurting with 160 lbs. It looks like he has been vacationing at a third world country," the 2. The next few games could prove quite challenging with all beer team Tony Neumann going to the Bahamas. The six position on the all-star list may also miss the next few weeks with a tropical getaway. The Swingers could have a real test without these spiritual and intoxicated leaders. Looking to step up and take over is the stunning combination of Nick and Brad. "We are looking for about five or six more people to show up and take over the drinking duties of these two," Brad "I got robbed" Buss. Speculations are flying about the possible return of retired first baseman Bill Johnson. He is rumored to be enjoying his retirement in the Chicago area. "I don't know if we will be able to pull him away from his new found romance. It's just not the same without seeing Bill around the house as much. I kind of miss that guy. Now Brad has to wash my hard to reach places," Nick. Look for updates and responses before next week. This is Chauncy, signing off. |
