Sir Jarek is the first of the Mind Mages who have popped up recently in Sithicus. His talents are incredible... but it doesn't start there.
His mother was traveling through Sithicus, touring a few historical sites (such as the Palace of Frost, and the small town of Crescentia) when she gave birth. As a result, though elven, his face was bluish, and his ears were not pointed, although large.
There were signs of him being different when he grew a small goatee- something no elf before him could have done. And he aged- like a human.
Jarek was tired of the infighting- nothing occurred in public, you see. But he heard things. Thoughts. Images. And so he fled, off to Sithicus, where others had been demonstrating similar problems.
Though in line for the throne of Perenolde, Sir Jarek is happy to be a mayor of a small town of people. Who are almost all completely loyal to him, for training them in their own psychic abilities.
Many regard him as not to be trusted- but he's really a jovial man. Elf. Thing. A smile is never far from Jarek's face, and he has spent the last few years as a councilor- healing the psychic wounds inflicted by untrained students.
Jarek appears as a somewhat lanky human. Which is odd- his green eyes and largeish ears points towards an elven heritage.. but his goatee, and his age, deny this.

This beautiful young (appearing!) girl was once a druid. She tended the groves in her families estate, and sought to care for the sick, the underpriveledged, and the hungry.
At the young age of 90, she volunteered to be a surrogate mother for the church of the fertility goddess, Kayalueaokalani. And she bore many children for those who did not have them, and Melanie's love was appreciated and seen by all.
And then she met Queklain.
Nobody knows what happened, or why- but only two days after their meeting, she had brooded in darkness and solitude. She forsook her druidic oaths to Gabriel, and reswore them- to Sakhmet. As such an event would normally distance her from her kin, Melanie fled to Rivas Kul, where she deposed the high priestess and claimed her position.
Under her rule, Rivas Kul has been growing steadily stronger. By her power do the rains come. By her power do the lifeless walk again.
And it is solely because of her that the darkness of Rivas Kul has been hidden from the paladins who claim to wish to search her land.
Clad in black, bearing a staff with a sigil of a spider upon the end (crafted entirely from emerald), her visage is both beautiful and terrible.

The only child of Ethan, the rightful ruler of Asgard, Philia is regarded by many to be a spoiled brat, undeserving of the name.
It is well known that she has often slept with men and let her father catch her, so that her fathers rage would spill out- meaning the evisceration of her lover.
But she really is such a sweet girl. Other than this nasty rumor, which both she, and her father, deny completely, there is no blemish upon her record.
Philia is in an arranged marriage with Jacob Luthwie Ailworn Cinlach, which will be completed upon the winter solstice. Thus, King Ethans heritage will continue- although not in his name. Asgard will have a king- which brings much solace to its gentle people.
She is a fairly cute 25 year old, who sadly looks five years older than she should. Wisps of grey stick out in her reddish hair, and it is known this brings great distress to the princess.

When he stands, his skin alternates colors, as does his hair. His voice is silvered and honeyed, a talent of his incredible years of working in the courts of Perenolde.
Rhiah'Asara's sigil, the brand marking his true and dedicated warriors, is a twisting cthonic rune around a green ankh. Many have questioned it, and those who can recall past lives often remember it, but not the circumstances it was seen in...

The Marquis Queklain is an enigmatic figure. Critics point to him, from Asgard, declaring him the downfall of civilization- a modern Greel- charming foes to agreeing with him, and fighting against goodness with mere words.
In his own words, he is a mere asthete with a talent for arcane trickery.
Little is published about his past, yet much is known- at a young age, he was ridiculously humiliated by an insectile creature with blades for arms, conjured by a foe of his, presumed long dead.
His love for another was his undoing, and it unhinged a bolt on his mind, and activated his sorcerous talents. His first act was sadly undone by his own father, who struck his right eye in a terrible blow. It had to be replaced with the eye of a dragonkin, of crimson heritage.
He is known to have a talent for manipulating the memories and minds of the women he meets.
Queklain dresses in the finest robes money can buy- often, the populace claims he burns each outfit after he wears them- and always wears red. Red leather, red masks, red gloves- nobody knows why. His right eye, too, is a deep and bloodstained crimson- and is completely independent of his left.

Old Scratch is a harmless man, who changes his appearance entirely at will. He exists only in the minds of a few people talented enough to use their dreams to speak with him, and as such, his existence is not widely known.
Scratch seems to be trapped in a small room- about thirty feet across, and sixty feet long. The entire room is filled with clocks. All he has to entertain him are visitors, a pack of cigarettes which is strangely never empty, and a chessboard.
Sometimes, that chessboard is used to play Ta'bael.
Nothing is known of his past, his purpose, or why he seems stuck in a small room. Except that he was supposedly murdered by the warriors of hope- who all seem on good enough terms with him, oddly enough.
All Matthias will speak about, sometimes, is fate- and destiny- and that it ensnares him more deeply than others.
Needless to say, he's become a strange out of body mentor to the little group of adventurers and terrorists who roam the worlds.
