Los Santibañes lastimaron mucho a Marimar asi que
esta decide escapar, sin saberlo encuentra a su
verdadero padre, un millonario que la convierte en
toda una dama de sociedad, Marimar cambia su
nombre a Bella Aldama y decide vengarse de Sergio
y su familia, y tras una serie de incidentes por
fin Marimar y Sergio encuentran la felicidad.
Marimar is the story of Maria del Mar Perez
(Thalia),
better known as Marimar, one "costeñita"
(girl from the beach) who lives with her
grandparents near the sea. One day she went to the
"Hacienda Santibañez" to steal a little
bit of food for her grandparents but she was
discovered by the manager of that place and he
tried to rape her but Sergio, son of the boss,
heard the screams and he went to rescue her.
Marimar fell in love with him and Sergio takes
advantage of this to take revenge of his own
family and he married her in order to
humiliate his family without knowledge that
Marimar would be the victim. The Santibañes hurt
Marimar so much that she decided to escape,
without a clue she found her real father, a
millionaire that teach her how to be a lady of
society, Marimar changes her name to Bella Aldama
and decides to take revenge of Sergio and his
family, and after a lot of incidents Marimar and
Sergio found the happiness.

Segunda telenovela de la trilogia, logra superar
todos los records establecidos por su antesesora a
nivel mundial. En USA tuvo mas audiencia que el
Super Bowl. En 1993 mientras filmaban en
Cuernavaca (Mexico) Thalia se enteró que Alfredo
(su ex-novio) habia muerto de hepatitis, Thalia
lucho por tratar de mantener la calma en el set de
grabacion ya que todo le recordaba a el. Esta
telenovela es una nueva version de "La
Venganza" (Mexico 1977).

had more rating than the Super Bowl. In 1993,
during the shooting of "Marimar" in
Cuernavaca (Mexico), Thalia found out that
Alfredo, her lover, had died of hepatitis. On the
set, she struggled to keep her composure as
everything reminded her of Alfredo. This
is a remake of "La Venganza" (Mexico
1977).

sin duda alguna esta es mi favorita, me
gusto mucho Pulgoso (el perro) y Macha (la
gallina). Tambien me gusto que gran parte de la
novela fue en exteriores.
Lucia:
es increible todo lo que Thalia consiguio con
"Marimar", recuerdan el exito que tuvo
en Filipinas?. La novela me gusto de principio a
fin. Me sorprendi al ver la escena en que Angelica
obliga a Marimar a recoger una prenda de oro del
fango con su boca y que mantuviesen ese momento en
la memoria de Marimar varios años despues cuando
ella hizo que Angelica recogiera del fango con la
boca los pagare por los cuales su esposo quedo en
la ruina. Dulce Venganza!.
Jonathan:
en que otra telenovela encuentras a un perro que
habla como parte del elenco protagonico y que de
paso sea de vital importancia en la trama? por
algo ya han repetido tres veces esta telenovela en
mi pais... "Marimar" la mejor... no que
no?.
Gisela:
no se si seran ideas mias pero a mi me parecio que
las actuaciones fueron exageradas (en el mejor de
los sentidos), a veces los personajes decian algo
y hacian gestos como los que usan en las parodias
de las novelas lo cual me gusto mucho ya que
le resaltaba ese toque de fantasia que tenia.
