This is my first time to hear Berean
Ministry. What is this sect? Why there are lots bad comments against
Ang Dating Daan? I can't seen any wrong about Brother Eli. This is his
style and everyone of us has individual diffrences. To be frank and
open is a good sign to enlighten many stubborn Filipinos. I don't find
Br. Eli childish the way he debate instead I everyone of us has style.

How
did you hear about our ministry? May we inform you that The Bereans:
Apologetics Research Ministry (Acts 16:11) is not a "sect"
nor a "denomination" but a spiritual discernment ministry
that probes today's various forms of religions and beliefs in the
light of God's word--the Holy Bible.
We
are not disseminating any "bad comments" about Eliseo
Soriano and the Ang Dating Daan but rather it
is our mandate to contend for the faith which was once for all
delivered to the saints (Jude 3). In addition, we are also exposing
the errors of Soriano's teaching so the
Filipino people may know that they are being duped. There is nothing
wrong with being "frank and open" but we have to remember
that we are in the Philippines and not in Jesus days (New Testament
times) where words must be carefully edited to protect the minors.
Watching and listening to Soriano's way of lambasting many religious
groups with his choice of words are not edifying the Filipino as a
whole but rather shows his arrogance. Soriano justifies his harsh
words by appealing to Matthew 3:7; 12:34, etc. However, proper context and
culture must apply in interpreting such passages dealing with Jesus'
straightforward words such as, "brood of vipers." If you
call this a "style" then I must say Soriano is not reading
and understanding his own Bible well enough.
