The
Water Company

an adaptation of Dante's Inferno

2005
Arts Court Theatre

The wild material isn't as out-there as you might think.
This is the kind of provocative material Theatrophy specializes in....the good from the bad, evil from innocence and horror from beauty. The young actors create mute masked monsters who prefer to communicate through wild gestures and broad physical comedy rather than dialogue.
-Denis Armstrong, the Ottawa Sun

The Grime of the Ancient Mariner

2004
The iNSTiTUTiON

they are all trained in the italian art of masked performance, and they do it very well... what you see as you watch their actors is how the mask imposes a certain relationship with the body...so that the mask almost comes alive through the movements of the body. They were like perfectly oiled machines.
-Alvina Ruprecht, CBC - Ottawa Morning

...one of the most exceptional examples of physical comedy I’ve ever witnessed. One almost forgets that the actors are surrounded by only a black plywood stage and a couple of pot lights...
-Sue Thompson, Thursday Night Café

Buried Alive

2003
Ottawa Fringe Festival

Formaldehyde

2002
Ottawa Fringe Festival
2003
Ottawa Fringe Preview/ Review

I know this sounds like those cheesy, over inflated comments critics make when they want to be quoted in movie ads. But here goes.
"If you only see one production at this year's Fringe Festival make it Formaldehyde!!!!".
-Denis Armstrong, Ottawa Sun

...it's about the most entertaining thing I've seen (of many entertaining things) at the Fringe so far. Five brains out of five.
-CKCU 'Remote Planet'

...how can you go wrong with dancing zombie clowns. This production was worthy of the Globe Theatre. I have never before seen that many blood bags explode and to such great effect. Shakespeare would have been proud.
-Daniel Wells, 'Daniel's Daily from the Bottom of the Bottle
'

Wow. I've never seen a show like this before...
-Paul Welch
