About the artist.
Kathleen Friedenberg began her professional
career as a veterinary surgeon in England, and came to the United States, on
a Thouron scholarship, studying human and equine orthopaedics at the
University of Pennsylvania.
Sculpting a wide variety of human and animal
subjects, Kathleen is mostly noted for her dynamic depictions of the
horse.
Kathleen is a member of The Society of Animal Artists, The American Academy
of Equine Art, Allied Artists of
America, Catherine Lorilard Wolfe Art Club, and The National Sculpture
Society.
