"No Good Deed Goes Unnoticed"
Those who worked for EAL were a very special breed.  When F/A Peggy Hrebinko*  joined our other friends in the Sky Lounge, she left her mother alone and in Mary Immaculate Nursing home in Queens, with no family and few friends in NY.  Irene visited Peggy's Mom nearly every day bringing homemade lasagna or other delicacies that were Mrs. Hrebinko's* favorites.  Irene brought along, her then 9-year old daughter, who gave such joy and delight to Peggy's Mom until the day she joined her own daughter Peggy*.
F/A's Jan Milone and Irene Presti
Above are F/A's Jan Milone and Irene Presti sharing that special kind of friendship that airline people enjoy.

Hilda Estay originally came from Santiago, Chile to become a F/A for EAL.

F/A Sande Roberts, Crew Scheduler Marty Winkler, F/A Ursula VonDerHorst
That's Marty Winkler, Crew Scheduler with F/A's Sande Roberts and Ursula VonDer Horst.
And you thought F/A's were always hiding from Crew Schedulers!!!

Crew Scheduler Marty Winkler, Agent Angie Plackis, F/A Norma Eagan
Crew Scheduler Marty Winkler with Agent Angie Plackis and F/A Norma Eagan
Notice  the theatre poster for "The Quiet Man" over Norma's left shoulder.
Remember the 1986 Retirement Party at the Bayside Yacht Club?  Norma was instrumental in the selection of that site for the party.  She worked there part time.
If you happen to live "out there on Long Island" somewhere, you may see Marty making his rounds delivering the mail.  .........and as if you didn't know, in addition to being an Agent at JFK for many years, Angie is aka Mrs. (F/A) Nick Plackis.
