| January 24, 2001 -- MTV News reports that Feildy is close to completing his solo project titled Feildy's Dreams. It's a rap/hip-hop record totally seperate from Korn and should feature guests from Eminem, Xzibit, and more. It is expected to hit stores this spring while Korn remains in the studio working on the follow up to Issues which is tentatively scheduled for a July 3rd release. January 11, 2001 -- Jonathan's next chat will be this Saturday at 6 p.m. PST at Korn.com once again. It seems there is definetly a Faith No More tribute record in the works with Korn rumored to be part of it. There is no confirmation of this yet but we'll let you know when we get it. No album release dates or tour dates are set in stone yet. December 21, 2000 -- Jonathan will be chatting again this Saturday, December 23rd at 6 p.m. PST at the Korn Palace at Korn.com. November 15, 2000 -- As with most on-line chats, Jonathan's was filled with a lot of pointless crap, but he did let slip a couple of things: -- A DVD (& most likely video) is in the works featuring all of Korn's videos and the Apollo Theater show -- Work has just begun on the new record & they have a song called "Porkchop" according to Jon, most likely a temporary title; he says the album will be "harder" & is due next year -- Jon also confirmed that he is not appearing in either the Queen of the Damned or The Wellon, he is just doing the music November 8, 2000 -- After taking a much deserved break Korn has returned to the studio with producer Michael Beinhorn. On Rockline this past Monday night, while promoting Strait Up, Jonathan said he expected the record to be released in the late Spring/early Summer of next year. Jonathan should reveal more details we hope in an online chat this Saturday, November 11th at 6 p.m. PST at the Korn Corner at Korn.com. September 27, 2000 -- Jonathan will be featured as a guest vocalist on the late Lynn Strait of Snot's tribute album. He will be on a track called "Take It Back". The album is due in stores November 7th. September 20, 2000 -- Family Values promoters have officially confirmed that the tour will not take place in the year 2000 although it is possible that it may still occur in early 2001. The reasons cited are the full fall schedule of other major tours. Fred Durst has said that Limp Bizkit will not be a part of it unless it was just them and Korn as a sorta of final Family Values outing to end the tour for good. Promoters also hope to have Korn on for a few dates if and when the tour happens. For more check out MTV and Sonicnet. August 29, 2000 -- Here are a couple of rumors to pass along - but remember these are rumored until confirmed: ** Who Then Now? 2 may have a possible release date of October 31st. The follow up to the platinum Who Then Now? video has been in the works for some time now so this is a very possible release date. We'll let you know as soon as we hear more. ** Korn will be taking time off and will most likely tour again in the spring, most likely March which could coincide with the release of a new album August 23, 2000 -- MTV News has reported that Korn will begin recording a new album in October, but in the meantime Jonathan will work on his movie score projects for The Wellon & Queen of the Damned. Jonathan is helping write music for both films, no acting. For a bit more on the Queen of the Damned project see the FAQ section. More updates on these projects & Korn's future projects as they come. June 30. 2000 -- In tour news: What will Korn do next after "Sick & Twisted"? Well to clear some things up that are floating around here are some answers: -- A strong rumor has floated around that Korn will release a live album in early 2001. This is a possibllity but we've been hearing rumblings of "Who Then Now part 2" for two years & it hasn't been released yet. The likely scenario though, if Korn takes the fall off, is that they will work on new material for the fifth album. -- Korn is not headlining Family Values 2000, if there is a FV 2000. Altough they may make a few guest apperances like they did last year. Korn will also not be part of Big Day Out 2001 altough they may do their own Australlia tour in the winter, which is summer in Australlia. -- "Trash" or "Let's Get This Party Started" will be the next single & video, the band is deciding on which one. July 25, 2000 -- Korn recieved just one MTV Video Award nomination this year for Best Rock Video for the clip of "Falling Away From Me". No word yet on the performers or whether Korn will be at the show. July 20, 2000 -- The Fargo, ND make-up show on Tuesday night featured a locaal band opening & neither Powerman 5000 or Pappa Roach were there. Pappa Roach is not scheduled to join the tour until the 21st since they are finishing their Warped Tour committment. As for PM5K, there is no word as to why they were not there. ---- Kornweb has reported that the two widely circulated tracks, "Krush" & "Earthquake" are fakes. These have been showing up on MP3 sites as "new" Korn tracks but they are not recorded by Korn. July 11, 2000 -- On July 22nd, MTV will feature the "Summer Sanitarium" Tour during it's "All Access" week. The show will feature back stage stuff, interviews, & performance footage from the bands involved. July 5, 2000 -- In betwen sets by Kid Rock & Korn last night, a 21 year old fell to his death at last night's Summer Sanitrium tour. The accident comes just a few days after 9 people died at the Rockslide Festival in Denmark while Pearl Jam was performing. Jonathan spoke to MTV News and said "It makes you feel bad, I feel horrible, and I remember when that stuff happened with us. We felt sick, and I'm sure Pearl Jam felt sick and somehow responsible. Us, today, we feel somehow resonsible, because if it wasn't for the show today those people wouldn't be dead." For more with real audio and more from Jonathan see MTV News. June 29, 2000 -- MTV News spoke with Fieldy and Munky at the recent KROQ Weenie Roast and they confirmed that the upcoming tour with Pappa Roach & Powerman 5000 will be "Sick & Twisted" part 2. An announcement is expected sometime after the European tour finishes. (Ed. note: Be carefull of what you read on Shoutweb.com sites (Korn web's affilliate).
