Final Fantasy Nine

Story Information

   A once benevolent country is now attacking its neighboring nations.  A secret group plans the kidnapping of the country's princess.  The princess herself is unsure of that is going on around her, and wants to run away.  Forces are stirring...  destiny is coming... the fate of two worlds is at stake.

 Character Bios

Zidane Tribal- An eccentric youth and member of the Tantalus acting troupe.  He holds nothing back, and is pure of heart.  Seemingly unable to be tamed though, he is really longing for true love.

Garnet Til Alexandros 17th- The royal princess of Alexandria, she worries about her mother's recent acts of hostility on other nations.  She decides to run away, and is then kidnapped (willingly) by the Tantalus group

Adlebert Steiner- Head of the Knights of Pluto of Alexandria, he is pulled into the story while searching for Princess Garnet.  He is very stubborn and takes orders overly serious.  It takes a lot to make this man realize what is going on around him.

Vivi Ornitier- A strange little boy.  Apparently the only living Black Mage on the planet, which even he does not understand.  He joins the group by chance because of accidentally falling onto the Prima Vista as it is making its escape.

Blank- A member of Tantalus, and one of Zidane's closest friends.  Though he is not a part of the team, he is sorely under-appreciated, because he does make a huge sacrifice for them.

Freya Crescent- This "rat" woman is from Burmecia.  An old acquaintance of Zidane's she is a master of the dragon lance.

Quina Quen- It is a wacky creature that will eat anything it can get its hands on.  It speaks in strange tongues, and especially loves frogs.

Amarant Coral- A bounty hunter, he joins the team to find out about himself, and why he exists.

Eiko Carol- A young girl of six, she is the last known of the summoner tribe.  She has a solid crush on Zidane, and that is her reason for joining the group.

Beatrix- Leader of the female knights of Alexandria, this beauty is at first and enemy to the group, but eventually helps them out, though she never joins the group.

Queen Brahne- The queen of Alexandria, she has recently been attacking the neighboring countries and swaying from her once peaceful ways.  What has come over her?

Regent Cid- Leader of Lindblum, she is Garnet's "uncle".  He is concerned about the recent happenings in Alexandria and therefore asked Tantalus to kidnap her.  Currently he is in the form of an oglop though, because of a spell that was cast on him.

Kuja- A mysterious figure that has been creating fake black mages for Queen Brahne.  He has also been supplying her with other magic and weapons.  What is his purpose and reason in doing this?  Why does he so badly need Garnet back?  Only he knows.
