To Play as Lucas d'Marabo ...

ucas awoke as the stars had climbed high in the sky. He had been pulled away from his slumber by his sire, who had watched the young French nobleman fall from grace into the shadowy abyss of an intolerable disrespect. There was forgiveness in the world now, and his judges had long since past. Lucas was hunting the world again. He remembered things from long ago, things that he would shun. He remembered his trips across the European country side; learning languages, the Castles and Palaces of Russia, the Alps, his father's chateau in a southern French mountain valley. Raised by both his family and his sire with the great respect for honor, he....how could he have. But he was clean again (or so he reassured himself time and time again). He felt somewhat empty though. There was something in his mind that he couldn't escape. A dream...a woman....purple hair. Picking up the pieces of his shattered existence, and collecting what he could from his ancient investments, Lucas set out on this new world. The year was 1892. He had been in Torpor for 88 years. Not long really, but so much had changed. He felt like an ancillea again, but with no direction. His path led him to America were he spent much of his time working on personal business accounts. He formed a collection of black market business deals and secured a location for himself in the burgeoning city of Chicago. He learned much from the city and made a spectacular Harpy. In one of his ventures, he found a young misplaced Kindred. He had watched her be embraced, and abandoned. Determined not to allow any Kindred to be disrespected so, he worked a devious plan and forced the sire to admit the embracing of the young Tara. She, however, repaid her debt quickly: Tara saved Lucas from her own sire. For their mutual help Tara, a.k.a. Blade, and Lucas formed a friendship. No where would this alliance be better tested then when she was forced to join him in a War Party. Lucas was ordered to gather the vampires in northwest Indiana, and secure a Camarilla hold. This was a chance to redeem himself. He would not fail.

Key Moment: After losing a bout with the forced gamble of his city to a Sabbat member, Lucas stands through a napalm blast point blank; in attempt to gain a last and fatal blow on the opposition, willing to risk his own life over losing Camarilla territory.

The Royal Coterie

Guenevere Addams (Tremere)-Other than her regard for the Camarilla, I do not trust one bat of her eyelash.

Frederick Kandor (Malkavian)-I don't know which is worse: having to listen to him ramble on, or listening to myself ramble on that he is a capable assett worth holding onto.

Acid (Toreador)-Is it really worth having an opinion of him? He fits his role as he should.

The Anarch Coterie

Dmitri Alexandre (Caitiff)-A squandering misfit, unworthy of my pity, no matter how I try to share with him.

Vandala Ivy Ravensburg (Caitiff)-It hurts when something you trusted betrays you.

Blade (Brujah)-You've only yourself to blame.

Silver Ice (Lasombra-Antitribu): Beautiful, Intelligent, a powerhouse of influence, manipulation, cruelty, and worst of all a Lasombra. Stay in line, little one. Stay in line.
The Oblong Coterie

Wolfspirit (Gangrel): Her capacity thus far as guaranteed her private hunting ground in my domain.

Diamond Reynolds (Ventrue): She is ferocious, unapologizing, and direct. How sweet it is to see her stalk her prey.

Dr. MarcusTalon (Malkavian): The doctor is worth his keep.

Forte (Tremere): Perhaps he is of some use to Vienna.

Lumiss (Mage): He best learn his place lest I leave him for Diamond.

Katherin Jenowitz (Kine)-The blood will take a while to sink in. In the meantime she best bite her tongue before I cut it out. She will make a good pair of eyes and ears to help keep tabs on this city.

"His name is Ricky, I think. His dad is a cop!"

That is how every conversation starts when the good girls looking to go bad turn their gaze at the cocky prick leaned against the bar at Vandala's club. Did he ever graduate high school? Nobody remembers him in class, but they all know him; and if you ask real nice he'll give you some French lessons. Whatever you want, he has it, or can get it for you; particularly if you are a skirt. The high school girls are drawn to Vandala's club: its wide range of music, the flashing lights, the couches in the shadowed corners where it is all too easy to cozy up to some older guy willing to get you drunk. Getting into the place isn't difficult, the bouncer doesn't care how old you are. The price to stay on top of the scene can be steep though, and Ricky is the tax man. Getting in good with Ricky is a rite of passage that almost every girl has been through. Your boy best back off if Ricky starts flirting with you, and know that he'll be your guest that night regardless of whom you came to the club with. Better just to find out what your boyfriend will want to cheer him up when you go to make up later, because you are certain to get whatever you want from Ricky: drugs, alcohol, info, if you are really good he'll even see that your social status changes. Certainly, there are a string of suicides in his shadow; girls who fell out of his favor and couldn't take it. Oddly they all seem to be cutters, dying from blood loss, or something similar. But who cares when you are 17, have a nose full of coke, free vodka martinis, and your head resting on the shoulder of the town charmer. Dads call him "trouble", and why shouldn't they? He has the best stuff. The strung out guy in the white Armani suit swears by Ricky's goods. And Ricky is always walking in and out of the door to that private back room that nobody can get into; the only door the bouncers care about. You want to know what is back there? Ask Ricky.
