#4 Toronto Buzz (Onekrazypuck)

The Toronto Buzz just love to buzz their opponents.  Their Canadian style of "take no prisoners" hockey can often trick teams into thinking they have them beat, only to discovered they get buzzed at the end of the game.  A odd group of very high calibre players fill their dressing room.  The Buzz are currently battling the dreaded old-age syndrome.  Luckily, their manager has many years of SLH experience and he should be able to overcome the "7th season blues"  The Buzz reached the top of the Conference 1 this season, where they were expected to get lost in the pack.  How did they do?  They duked it out with some of the best and were undefeated on their way to finishing 1st place.  No doubt, conference 1-1-1 got "buzzed!"

Accomplishments: (as of 04/25/04) (Division 1-1-1-P)
7 League Cups, 8 Playoff Cups, 4 Beer Cups, Champions Shield (post-update)
Coach Says:
My guys are a very talented hockey team, no matter how red their eyes are.  They continue to make the owners and management of the Toronto Buzz proud so I basically let them do what they want to, even though I sometimes have to leave the dressing room when it gets a little on the smokey side. I have had the priviledge to coach many great athletes during my time as the coach of the Buzz.  From the now retired Hugh Stoner to the one-time Iggy MVP Buzz DagainJR, I been lucky to coach such greatness.  Nowadays, Harry Upandroll and Howie Getzstoned lead the Buzz as they ride the wave of success,  And with up-and-coming rookies like Stu Pitstoner and Fitz Inabong, the Buzz's future looks high!
Team Name Origin: (his actual words)
I've secretly been worrying about this for awhile now but here goes nothing.  Toronto is nothing special as you might have already guessed.  It's where I was born, raised and still like today.  It's also a cyber tribute to my favorite NHL team, the Leafs!  The Buzz part has a few meanings behind it.  For starters, its the name of a hilarious TV show that was originally on a small community TV network here in Toronto.  A "Buzz" is also something I used to have often roughly 5-10 years ago during my stoner days in high-school.  Those days are behind me now, but the nickname "Toronto Buzz" has been my fantasy hockey name of choice ever since then.
For SLH purposes, I was able to add my own little comidic spin to my roster as all my players have something "buzzy" to their names.  Have a look, and see if you can figure them out.
