Chapter Three: The Connection                     The following is the truth. The connection made between birth and death.
Home
In the life of all things there is a beginning and an ending. It is a cycle known to all things beginning with birth, followed by life, and ending with death. This is, to most, an unquestionable cycle. It is perfectly rational to assume that everything that exists has had a beginning but this is irrelavant, the question that should be asked is if everything has an end.
Many people believe in an end, whether this ending is one to a life or one to an entire existence, such as an apocalypse. For a life an ending is possible, but for an existence there is no end. There may be what is thought of to be an end from ones eyes but from the eyes of another it is a chance for a new beginning. When something ends or is no longer in existing then there is space to occupy, space for other things to fill. It is likely for something to fill this space quickly and move on through time, according to whatever has filled the space the beginning of time has begun.
Along with this concept is the fact that beginnings are linked to endings. Birth is linked to death as death is linked to birth. Without birth there is no death, just as without death there is no birth. For a death to take place something must be born and for a birth to take place there must be death to make way for the new life or else there would be no space for anything new. If people didn't die the world would be horribly overcrowded and it is better that people die instead of suffering in an overcrowded world. Without chaos existence will not change or continue.
In reality this is one of many truths that are hidden from the faces of many. The fact that we need chaos or death in order to continue existence. Without it there would be no continuation of existence. The loss of a tiny piece of something can be better for the entirety of that something.
Destruction is the natural way to get rid of things that are obsolete or not needed in order to have space for what is necessary for existence to continue and become stronger, there are everyday instances of this in nature. Some trees drop seeds that only germinate when they reach a high enough temperature. The seeds are designed this way so that when there is a forest fire the existing older trees die and a new forest of trees is born.
Things like this happen in everyday life, abandoned buildings are taken down to put up new ones, people get rid of an old couch or car to get a newer better one whinh would better suit their needs. We can only hope that one day more people would think about the simple truths of existence more often and in depth. This is just one truth; existence needs destruction, but there are many others to interpret, which is what The Reckoning is about.
