| Shikon no Tama |
| The Shikon no tama was created by a powerful priestess named Midoriki. she was bitten by a demon who intended to eat her. In a quick moment she took the demon in herself trying to purify the demon but failing in doing so she shot out the Shikon no tama from her chest. The jewel orginally was kept in the demon slayers region (Sango's region) But was later transfered to Kikyo's shrine. The Shikon no tama aka the Jewel of Four Souls was once protected by the priestess Kikyo.After being severely wounded Kikyo decided to die with the shikon jewel to make sure it never fell into the wrong hands.This was all going according to plan before a 15 year old girl named Kagome came to the Feudal Era and released the shikon jewel from her body which it laid hidden.After it's release many demons craved it's power and tried to obtain it.It was then shattered into many fragments and now demons have one to four fragments making them even more powerful.So now the quest begins to gather the shards and make the shikon jewel whole again.But the evil Naraku waits amongst the shadows and is collecting the shards for his own ambitions. |
