How about Powerpuff Girl Week? Pretend you're a superhero. Topic 1) Everybody's Forte: - By Me
Ok, this used to piss me off, but not so much any more. Ever notice how everyone has their like "thing"? Like she's good at singing, and he's the artist, and she's the athlete. So if someone was talking about this person to you, you would chime in, "Oh, that girl who is really artsy and plays basketball, right?" I noticed that most of the people I know have at least one passion, one forte--something that they're better at or even just more dedicated to than most other people. And those who are classified as "Renaissance" people have three or more fortes: "He's a really good dancer and a passionate skateboarder, and he's really into liberalism."
See, I used to think that I was a "Renaissance" person until I figured out that I'm not really that good or even very dedicated to, well, anything. I realized that I have no forte. I mean, when people talk about me, what do they say? "Oh, uh, that girl who...uh...does all those clubs, and uh...well, you just have to meet her." I mean, yeah, I do a lot of things. But apparently I've crossed the line of being involved in so many activities that I have no definition.
So maybe my forte is just having no forte. I dunno.Topic 2) 4-H=Duct Tape: - By Kim
4-H is like a roll of duct tape. Most people see a roll of duct tape and think they understand it completely. Similarly, most people hear 4-H mentioned and think they understand the club. Both preconceived notions are inaccurate. Duct tape is much more than ordinary tape, and 4-H is more than agricultural knowledge. Although duct tape traditionally comes in silver, it can be found in a wide array of neon shades and primary colors. Likewise, although 4-H started with an agricultural base and maintains many agricultural activities it also includes community service activities and fellowship events. Duct tape uses are plentiful, as 4-H applications have no boundaries. There are no requirements you must pass to be able to use duct tape and in the same way 4-H allows both genders, all religions and all ethnicities to enjoy 4-H events. Duct tape's adhesive qualities directly parallel to 4-H's tendency to bring people together and create long-lasting friendships. I guess the moral to the story is that you can't judge an organization until you really do understand it, so come to a 4-H council meeting--the next one is November 6th.Topic 3) Cat's Song of the Week:

Ok, there was no box last week because of Homecoming, but this week's was delayed a few days because of every one of you. Nobody sent me articles, and I finally had to pry one out of Kim. Anyway, hope y'all had fun with your day off, because I sure did...
