| Now what exactly is Al Gore trying to prove? He has aligned himself with a man who is so far removed from what Al Gore has always "stood" for. Gore has aligned himself with a man who's anger and hate is more than most people can reconcile, and who changes his beliefs the way most of us change clothes. Yes, Howard Dean seems quite popular now. The media has portrayed him that way, but there has been no caucus or primary yet. We do not know how America really feels about this man, or any of the other eight for that matter. When I heard the news that Al was going to announce his support for Dean, I immediately thought, "I wonder how Joe Lieberman feels about that?" We soon found out that Senator Lieberman had no forewarning either. That was a very low and dirty blow. That one stupid move on Gore's part totally nullified any tidbit of respect that Gore should have left with the American people. It is also obvious that all this was an attempt for Gore to strike back at the Clintons. Why have this announcement in Harlem? Well, simply because Bill Clinton's office is in Harlem. It was symbolic. And where was Tipper? She did not appear with her husband. Al's daughter was there, but where was his wife, who always appears with him during "the big" moments? And what was with all the sweating and shouting? What was with all the derogatory remarks about President Bush and his administration? Why don't Al and Howard tell us what they are going to do, not what they feel others are doing wrong? No, they can only spread hate, fear, and gloom. Remember, Karma will find you boys, and it may not be pretty. It is obvious that Al has gone off the deep end. He committed political suicide, and Dean may very well go down with him. Give them enough rope… Can you please tell me why Senator John F. Kerry felt the need to use the "F" word during an interview with Playboy? I found it completely repulsive. Now, I am free with curse words at frustrating times when I am at home and in private, I will not deny that and it is something that has a time and place, but never in public. It is never acceptable for a presidential candidate to do. I know the current generation is portrayed as using some very strong and nasty language. MTV portrays our youth as vulgar. Yes, some do live their lives this way, but it is by far the minority and most of the teenagers I know do not use this language and are more upset by the use of this language than their parents are. Senator Kerry impressed no one by using the "F" word, at least no one who will actually enter a voting booth in November 2004. Senator Kerry appeared on Fox News Sunday today and only had negatives to say. He only grazed across the success we have today about Saddam, and immediately used this opportunity to degrade President Bush, and Howard Dean. The only thing he said he would do would be to bring our troops home and give contracts to rebuild Iraq to Germany, France, and all those who oppose us. Of course, he gave conditions to this, but he strongly feels we need to repair these relationships. I cannot go there. I am very tired of the Democrats talking about all the things that are wrong and never mentioning what is right. I am worn out by thier negativity and attitude. They are, every one, drowning in their own pool of hate and anger and lies. I say to all of them, even ole Al, you guys lost in 2000 by your own actions, the same actions you use today. GET OVER IT! STOP WHINNING! GET A GRIP! Times a wasting! You guys keep pointing fingers while President Bush is out working and doing and getting it done. What says more??? Most of you guys running on the Democratic ticket should be showing up for work at The Capital Building, but you're missing votes. That's OK, I guess, it makes it easier for the Republicans to pass things. Shortie 12-14-03 |
