EC's, are you looking for a group that will go the

distance in helping you and fighting for your problem?

Is something wrong at Convergys that you thought

others should know about?  Then look no farther than

The Resistance.

Overview

On 25Feb02 a group called The Resistance was

formed. It was started by an employee of Convergy's

named Greg Pruett. It has currently grown to about 17

members.  It was formed because this group had

decided that they had had enough of supervisors on up

not following policies like the EC's have to do.  Basically
an incident took place where an operations manager for

weeks ignored one of his employees on purpose.  That

pretty much started the whole thing.  It is dedicated to

helping the consultants of Convergys fight

against those that are abusing the privilege of being a

supervisor or manager.    The Resistance thought that it

was not fair that EC's have to follow the rules and no

one else does.  Their group will continue to grow and

they are asking all EC's to take a stand when something

isn't right.  Don't be afraid to speak up when you are

being crapped on.  It is just not right.  It's time to stand

up for each other.  The group will do whatever it takes

(following all rules and laws of course) in hopes to get

the supervisors and on up to begin following the rules

like the EC's have to.

Everybody at Convergys, EC's especially, know that

there is a lot of corruption and problems within the

management system.  Most managers and supervisors

seem to think that they are invisible and can do

whatever they want and get away with it.

Entertainment Consultants are not blind to this but know
that if they say anything that they will be fired.  So they

don't say anything.  Therefore the corruption continues.

The fact is that when something goes wrong it is an

EC's fault or Convergys simply covers it up and tells

you it is a big misunderstanding.  Just about every time

that we bring up an issue we are told by human

resources that it is a big misunderstanding.  How lame

of an excuse is that?  The only big misunderstanding

here is Convergy's management.  They make horrible

decisions such as the gas leak incident, taking away the

escalation specialists, and not training all supervisors in

sales before they did so.  That is only a few examples.

When will the madness end you say?  Only when EC's

start to stick up for each other and we put an end to the

corruption.  The problem is more serious than anyone

of us can imagine.  The 3 links above will help you in

fighting the power.  It is time to stand up for what is

right.  It is time to FIGHT THE POWER!!!
