We use hardwoods like the Cocobolo, Guapinol, Mora, and Carbon. We use only the select wood from our mills and take care in every process to making an art piece. We only apply lacquer or polyurethane so that the natural wood grain is revealed.
NATURALLY AUTHENTIC-
Hardwoods are the preferred material for fine furniture, flooring, cabinetry, and millwork due to strength and inherent character. Don't be confused by the term "all wood" which usually indicates materials such as particleboard and plywood. Substitutes can never duplicate the warmth and character of solid woods.
NATURALLY DISTINCTIVE-
Solid hardwoods have their own personality. Much like a fingerprint, hardwoods are never repeated or engineered to artificial perfection. Each tropical hardwood species has is own grain pattern, from the bold statements of COCOBOLO and CARBON to the more subdued looks of MORA and GUAPINOL. Solid hardwoods are like silk, linen, and leather: premium materials with mutually varied character. Subtle differences between the showroom sample and the article in your home makes each piece yours alone.
NATURALLY TROUBLE-FREE-
Accidental dents and scrapes do happen. So when you look for lasting value, solid hardwoods are a wise choice. Repairs and refinishing are easy, because there are no substitute materials beneath the surface.
CONSERVATION OF THE TREES: The cuttings of the trees are done by a single stem harvesting. The government inspects and marks the trees with a code that is for local transportation and milling, and finally for export. Three trees are planted for every tree harvested.
